The heat has really been "HOT" around the USA......so as pet owners, we need to be extra careful that we do not allow our fluffs to fall victim to Heatstroke. "WE" have the responsibility to keep them out of harms way.

The ASPCA rescued 85 dogs from Waynesboro, TN, to assist the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department with a critical hoarding intervention. A total of 85 dogs—including German Shepherds, Labradors and Hound mixes—were discovered in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions on a property owned by an elderly man. The dogs were contained in large pens, chained to posts throughout the yard and found roaming the property. Many suffered from health problems, including mange and heartworm.

Wealthy heiress Gail Posner passed away in March 2010, but she surely didn't want her pooches to lead a dog's life, so she left her $8.3 millon mansion and $3 million trust fund to her three small dogs.
