If we had our house built I would sure get this sweet pair of dogs. We live in a 77 Airstream and have no room for both. I went on lookin for one to adopt but these should stay together. They are too cute.

They are adorable. I have started searching rescues and adoptions for a young female maltese. Since we lost our Lab, Belle's best friend, she is having seperation anxiety. My DH says it's me who has it not Belle. I just can't leave her alone to go anywhere and I would never leave her in the car. After losing 2 furbabies in a year and a half, I just want to know she is safe with me. I never had a problem leaving her in her crate when our lab was with her, I think it's part of my depression. I am not having much luck with finding what we are looking for here in Minnesota. Most places for rescues and adoptions are kind of far away. Another thing I was surprised at was the cost of adoption. It's just about what you pay for a puppy from a breeder. If anyone has any ideas or leads please let me know.

Regarding cost I believe 300 is accurate especialy for a small breed. It covers shots and spay/neautered. More than that I doubt it's a rescue.

When I went searching I would also e-mail professional breeders to see if they have older fluffs they would like to rehome. Normally they will charge 400-1000 for adults. That also might be worth it since you would not have to worry about training them or any unknown health problem.

I would just be patience and when the right one comes you will know it. I found JiJa because all friends knew I was looking and someones neighbor had puppies. All I had to do was pay for her previous shots. :D And I found Lil' Man on YT when he was a few day's away from being put down because he had heartworms.
