Jack had a wonderful young lady vet who was just smitten with him. Kallie, don't worry, I told her he had a lady love in Florida:awink:
She gave him a good check-up, looked at the video, took a tiny sample of the skin on the one area he has licked raw, took his temp and checked his heart.
She did find a tiny heart murmur but wasn't too concerned about it (yet).
His skin looks really good, and she does concur with our regular vet about the underlying cause might be allergy related along with something the groomer might be using.
So, we are going to give the one last triamcinolone tablet with his dinner from our vet, use the tropical spray as needed and use over the counter chlorpheniromin (4 mg) instead of the regular benadryl. She also said we might consider using baby shampoo on him and have the groomer not shave him close to the skin anymore.
If things keep happening, they have a dermatologist on staff and we might have some tests done.
He has been fine now and acting normal.
Thanks for the hugs and kisses, Jack loves you all, and so does his mommy.
