I started my new job. Its at a kennel... anyways after the 1st 90 days ill get health insurance for $11 a month if i choose what they offer or $50 a month if i want something else... which in my view of things is very good.

Also theres a vet office that charges 50% everything... today i actually brought Chip in to visit after i got off work and he had a tick on his belly they took it off right there for free =-D and if i want to board himt here eventually it will be free or really cheap depending on time of year and stuff.

So far I love it it's fun and everything! I deal with dogs all day Wash out there runs and stuff give them food and water. It pays well and I'll be getting a raise in 30 days (1 month evaluation). The people there are very nice and so far fun to work with.

The barking can get somewhat LOUD. but for the most part i like it so far.

wow i didnt know...

what area do you live?

i let my babies run around and i guess i am lucky no ticks *cross finger*

yes get chip all his shots! before hitting the parks i didnt know he didnt get all his shots yet since u mentioned he been outside.

we only been to one park and we were on the pathway :D haha so i guess its not conersidered to be a real park experience...

i am hoping to take the little ones to a dog park only so they can socialize but it seems only big dogs are always there never the small ones...

but the pet expo was a grea experience where they met a lot of toy breeds there.

nice talking to you adam_c

Congrats on your new job!! Sounds like a good job to me!! I would love to have that job, any job that where I can work with animals everyday is a great job for me. Right now after recovoring from surgery, I am looking for a job at a vet's office or kennel. And I figured while I am searching for a job I might as well see if I can volunteer at the vet clinic. Alot of people say that is how they got the job, they started out as a volunteer and did such a great job that they hired them on. It is what I am hoping for anyways.:)
