How many actually have a "bag" or container with all the necessities when taking your pup with you in the car and what do you include?

Here's my list:
copy of license
towels
gal. of water to wash feet
baby wipes
treats
bowls
water for drinking
bags for picking up their waste
extra leash
food
brush/comb

So is there anything you can think of that might also be added that I might have overlooked???? I'm open to suggestions!:)

Are you going for a short car ride or a long one? I made sure to bring Mia's vet records, her favorite toys, and the list you made!

We have a first-aid kit in every car. We also have a blanket in each car for any emergency.

Ladies----I also have a picture of Jack in the car. Just in case he should get lost or stolen the picture has the info on the back for quick help: the number of the ID hotline, and the vet's number. It's in a zip lock plastic bag for safe keeping.

I have a kids back pack for Mia in the car at all times it includes:

Small Tupperware with dry food
Small Tupperware with snacks
Thermos with distilled water
Brush
Favorite toys
Leash
Nutrical (she is still a tiny puppy)
Wet ones
Disposable baggies (poop)
Harness (she normally has a collar on)

Thanks I will now add the blanket & towel

I do have have a question her thermos is metal on the inside will it rust after awhile or even get toxic? I hope not!:fainted:

I would add to your lists...
dog purse in case we need to go in a store, I won't leave her in the car
Crate and/or ex-pen depending on where we are going
Bed
rubber bands, cause if we lose the one in her hair, she looks like cousin it for the whole trip
and most importantly...CLOTHES!!:D

THat's cute! I don't have bag babies but they will tolerate it if needed. They would rather me hold them.

SSHHH that's how she goes undetected. She is actually very good in the bag. Hopefully she won't learn to bark while in the bag or I'll be thrown out of quite a few places.:D

Oh now that is a good suggestion!!! I am going to add that to my list!!! See I knew I would be leaving things out. Okay I'm going to put pictures in the car tomorrow with all their information on the back!!! Why didn't I think of this?????

Kallie is 10.5 lbs.........I don't think a bag will work. She is a bit hard to hide but I love every ounce of her hairy body!!!:D I carry a rug in the car to put into the cart at the petstore and put them in it with their leashes on. They love it!!! Or else I have front carriers like a back pack they ride in which they also like! Hubby takes the hefty Kallie and I take lightweight Toby.:D

If Bucky and Sadie are traveling with us, it is by motorhome and things don't really change for them. They have their beds, potty bin, toys, etc. All the conforts of home, they enjoy on the road. Luckily they are pad trained, so they can go back and do their business anytime, Although we do pull off the road periodically and let them run around on their leashes.

We take almost everything when we travel.

Here is what all we take:
Water bottles and food and water bowls
Food
Bottled Water
Treats
Toys
Beds
Leashes, harnesses
Brushes, combs
Hairties and bows
Grooming wipes and dog colonge
Sweaters, shirts, bellybands, diapers
Blankets
Towels
Sheets
Ex pen
Crate
Carrier
Pads
License tags and all vet information and records

I am sure I missed something. It usually takes us 15 minutes to pack everything up and load into the car. The dogs all know the routine so they start getting super hyper because they know they are going somewhere, lol.
