We got Misha a year ago in Jan at 11 weeks. We then got our (Morkie) Piper in June at 14 weeks. It took Misha about 2 weeks to like Piper, now there fine with each other. This January we got Max our Yorkie, & our 1st boy.
Misha hates him most of the time. She won't play with him & is always growling & snipping at him. Two months have gone by & she wont tollerate him 95% of the time. Why won't Misha come around? Piper & Max play great together. Piper & Misha will play together sometimes. She is almost like a loner. While the other 2 are playing she'll want me to chase her. She would rather have me or daddy hold her than to play with the other 2. She is also more laid back than the other 2. Should she have been a lone furbaby?

Chipper is the same way. My daughter has a yorkie that always wants to play with Chipper. His name is Marty. He really loves Chipper but Chipper wants nothing to do with him. He doesn't like my Mom's dog either. The only other animal he has ever liked is when the kids brought in a cat when he was really small. He laid his head on it's back and they lay that way for an hour. He even cried when it left. He has never liked anything else. I think he is a loner too.

Really hard to say. Sometimes there are dogs that are like that. Toby is great with Kallie although he tends to be rough sometimes but quickly stops when told to! But he is not good with any other dogs and has attacked our neighbors yorkie. Fortunately neither was hurt as the other yorkie is very submissive. We've had Toby since he was six months so I don't know WHY he is that way but I am going to have to do something with him as we take him with us all over the place and being aggressive or defensive to the point of fighting is not good! Kallie is laid back but will play and I know she is much happier with a second bud; but think she would have preferred another maltese than the hyper yorkie!!!! lol

I thought the same thing. I should have gotten her a sissy maltese. Although Piper has just as much energy as Max they are great for eachother. I'll think about next year a maltese, if hubby will let me.
