I came onto chat when I got home this afternoon, but I was too late. I i.m'ed Andrea because I couldn't figure out how to open the chat window - yahoo wasn't giving me that option, but she told me that was because you guys weren't there anymore. Well, I know I won't be there next Friday because I will be in landing in NY about the time you guys start chatting, but hope to catch up with you soon...

How do you guys chat?

We use the Yahoo instant messenger system. You have to set up an account with yahoo email and messenger and then we actually exchange information and keep each other on a contact list and then we post a time and then someone starts up a "conference" window where you can be invited to chat! We've had one almost every week for some time now.........just last Friday we missed but tonight we had chat: Laurie, Jadey, Andrea, Elaine and ME.......sometimes it gets hectic with everybody typing at the same time so you have to read fast and type faster! ROFL And if you want to join and :) you are late, you just have to instant message someone that is in chat and they can invite you in! Sounds complicated but it's not really!!! You know you are welcome anytime to join in. Usually every Friday night around 5:00PM EST!!! Give it some thought! We'd love to have you join us. Of course once you set up the account, you can Instant Message (IM) anybody on your contact anytime!!! It's fun!!

I do have a yahoo account so I'll have to figure out the menssenger stuff.

That's a hard time for me as I'm picking up kids from school and stuff and that's why I haven't asked about joining you all before. But they often have 1/2 days on fridays, atleast once and sometimes twice a month. So maybe I can join in every now and then.

Well, it doesn't have to be that time. You pick a time and post it and then see who responds. Some times it is just two of us on chat. I just finished chat with Cheryl (Gregswife) and earlier it was Crystal(ladyjazz). So sometimes you can chat just cause you want to chat. But you do have to share your Yahoo with the other chatters.:)
