Where do you leave your dog when you are out of the house?

Well, Kira has full run of the house, she's fully trained and will not get into any trouble.
LilyBelle on the other hand, will get into all sorts of stuff! I have her in an xpen, she graduated from her crate. She has all she needs in there with ample space to walk around and stretch.
I don't think I would let Kira and LB have full run of the house together. I would like Carlos or I be there when they play. LB can get pretty rough, Kira is a sweetheart.:luv:

Chipper stays in my room. He has his food, water, toys, bed and pad (which he hardly ever uses)

Scoobie & Chyna are crated when we leave. Neither one is fully crate trained. I had an pen area set up for Scoobie when he first came home and he was doing well with using his potty pad, but because of some other issues with him just staying in there and never venturing out to explore like most pups would I took it down. So now he and Chyna both are confined to a crate when we leave. They are only allowed in the Den until they are fully trained.

When Jack is home alone he is confined to the kitchen. His crate is left open and he has his favorite toys and water. He gets his Kong filled with his favorite stuffings and he doesn't even care when we leave the house.

Really? All your furkids are inside unsupervised while you are at work etc?
Scrappy has free rein here but I am trying to figure out whether an Xpen will be needed for the newbie.

My group is free too. Unless I'm going to be away quite a while, like more than 5 hours, which isn't often. But if I am, Tink and Gizmo are gaited in the kitchen.

I keep Cosmo and Blue confined to one room when I am at work. If I have to run out for like an hour-3 hours I let them run around the house. Anything longer than that they are confined to one room:D

All of mine have the run of downstairs. I have the stairs gated off, for different reasons.
1. being they will for sure find something in the boys bedrooms or toy area and eat it.
2. Only Ernie can go up and down the stairs, Max can only go up, so once he is there he is stuck, and Sammy the Princess can't do either. So to make life easy and safer, they only have downstairs.
3. I can relax knowing they are safe and together.

I don't trust Chip as far as I could throw him when it comes to letting him run free in the house - whoops bad statement, I'm pretty sure I could throw him very far, but ya'll know what I mean. He gets into everything and if he sees my poor elderly kitty that hates him with a passion... whoa boy! He definately is in his crate when we aren't home.
