Tebow, my 1 year old, can't keep his nose and tongue off my new baby Brie. What do I do??After just 5 days they love one another but my male just can't seem to stop his nosing around.
Here they are:

Oh my goodness they are just adorable :hearter:

Your baby will start teething soon enough and your boy will not want to be near him, hee-hee.

The baby, Brie is 10 weeks old. She has all her teeth and is a active and aggressive 2 pounder. Her human parents had a medical emergency so I took her ahead of time, I figured I had my Tebow and he could supplement her missing family.

I just wish he could keep his nose and tongue where it belongs lol. My parents seem to think that it is normal behavior for doggies.

HELLO and WELCOME TO MT!!!

First off your fluffies are just adorable!!! Very very cute pack! As far as the licking goes, if the Brie didn't like it, I am sure she would let him know. Maybe Tebow is just welcoming her into the family. Better he licks her than fights with her. I would look at it as his way of bonding with her.

Congrats on BRIE!!! Keep posting pictures of your babies. We all love pictures and thanks for sharing a pic of them both! :)

Brie is such an adorable name for such an adorable little girl :hearter:

Brie is so tiny and sooo adorable!! I think Tebow just keeps licking her cause he's trying to take care of her! So sweet!! Thank you for sharing. You have beautiful furbabies!!!

What beautiful furkids. My baby Bella is always in her "brother's and sister's" face licking away. When they get fed up, they let her know. She get's mad at them but that is o.k. If the hair on their nose gets wet it is salty. I think that might be one of the reason they lick, lick, lick. The good news is that they always have clean eyes

Well Belle is 2 years old now and since we lost her brother in September (our Lab) she has seperation anxiety from me. Or maybe it's the other way around, I can't bear to leave her home alone so she goes everywhere we do and one of us stays in the car with her:( Kind of takes the fun out of eating out, hello McDonalds.. We are awaiting our new baby, he will be 12 weeks in about a week and a half and I can hardly wait. We are calling him Sammy, his other mom is calling him that so he knows his name. My worry is Belle, she is very dominant and I'm not sure how to go about this. When we brought Belle home she was 2 pounds and I held her down for our Lab to sniff and then put her down beside him. I knew he would never hurt her,:confused there was never a more gentle dog. It took Belle about 15 mins. to show him she was boss! Belle can be a real stinker so I'm hoping she'll adapt very quickly. I have a crate for Sammy so I know he'll be safe if I have to leave for a minute. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I forgot to add that Sammy is a purebred Maltese.

How are you and new family member making out?

I have Brie, now 4 months old and Tebow who is 15 months old. Baby Brie is definitely the boss here. Both are full Maltese but they are brother and sister, just different generations. I also have part custody of one eyed Jack, another sibling of their's.

Biggest problem is trying to keep Tebow from humping her. Fortunately he is not aggressive about it so as soon as I hollar he stops. I have a play pen where Brie sleeps cause 'm afraid for her.

Its alot of work but things are starting to settle down now.

Hope all is well for you.

Glad things are starting to settle over there, sounds like you have a full load. If your babies are not fixed the only recomendation is to keep them in different rooms. It only takes seconds to get a bitch pregnant. You might also want to use a diaper on your girl and only remove it when she's ready to pee on your sight.

Wow, this is a great idea.....will definitely bring me some piece of mind. I actually saw a sewing pattern on line for some kind of band for the male dog, then you just put a modess pad or diaper in it. I'm thinking doing Tebow cause it might be a little easier???
