Well what I read so far (again the food section) They don't believe in commercial dog food. They home cook or feed raw. I also read up on the vaccines which they don't believe in vaccinating yearly but to run titers. Some vaccines are still in system for up to 7 years. Some vaccines are even unnecessary depending on where you live. It's interesting reading but I would like to know more about their background.
I guess I read more than I thought.:p

I started at the beginning of the book and I'm highlighting some of the info on the vaccinations. I am going to discuss this with the vet next month when Jack turns one. I do believe that we do over vaccinated our pets, but I don't want to hurt Jack either. I am going to have them do the titer test before any shots are given. I never had that done for Max.
The 2003 Canine Vaccine Task Force of the American Animal Hospital Association (14-vet group) announced that vaccines should be given according to whether the disease was a problem for all dogs, or only for dogs with special needs. You can link to the AAHA report, the 2006 update, at www.dogs4dogs.com
So far, the reading is easy and does make one really think if we are our best friends 'friend or enemy'.
