I am so thankful that I made the switch to NB when I did. Now we just have to hope that someone can figure out how to fix this horrible mess and not let any more animals get sick or die.
Yesterday the newspaper stated that the one company knew way back in Dec. about the problem but did nothing. The owners who lost pets will be able to sue for larger amounts because now fraud charges are pending against this company. I hope they get rocked with law suits, maybe then these people will learn not to play around with the health of our pets. Good lord, don't these people have pets--what were they feeding their pets?

I heard in the news today that they are trying to rule pets as living human things versus as they are seen today as possesions...opening the way for larger lawsuits.
I'm sorry my 2 babies are like family members not possesions. This law should have been passed a long time ago.
I'm going to hold my breath to see if Menu Foods reimburses me the $135.00 I spent on the blood test for Mia. At least I'm feeling less nervous!!

I really hope this law passes. If these people are in the pet food business they understand that our babies are not just personal property.
