Hello from sunny Texas
My name is Kelli and I am a dog groomer. I have three dogs. I have two pit bulls and one Maltese.
(yes yes...i know about compatability issues but Im not your typical Pit Bull owner: both mine are spayed/neutered, obedience trained, and well socialized! We visit Petsmart and my work once a week since the day I got them! I keep both kenneled, even from each other, when I cannot supervise. Even though I have poured my life into making them proper, well mannered dogs, I DO realize the potential and instinct they have and I tak every measure to prevent any situation from happening!)
SO anyway I have had Skwooshee for two weeks from today now. I found a WONDERFUL breeder that was very close to home. She is a low scale show breeder but she was very open to my dogs and to me. I spent a good 5 or 6 hours at her house the first day I met her. SO this is my puppy:

I tell you though, the personality differences between my two breeds are facinating. I am in love with the Maltese. I love Skwooshee very much even in the short time I have had him! He is always the hit at Petsmart or when I have him on my grooming table. He is already well mannered. He comes with me to work everyday so he will be very well socialized and accustomed to dogs, people, and loud noises.
Taking care of his fur though is something else. It is SO much work but I think its worth it. I love that long silky coat. I may need advise on products and such!
SO anyhow....thats me. Thanks for reading!
