Wow!!! Caring for 5 furkids requires alot of time. I find myself spending a least 1.5 hours a day for grooming alone. That is besides time spent for walking, training, playing and of course snuggling :wink5: How much time do you spend with your fluffs ??

Unfortunely not enough time right now :(

I'm glad everything is working out fine with all your five pooches :D

About 1/2 hour brushing/combing two each day. Thank goodness they are all in "puppy" cuts. An hour or more walking the younger 3 and 2x a day meals. Then there's play time with me:). Does snuggling in bed count? Then it 8 or more total, I sleep maybe 6 hours if lucky.

About 21 hours a day :) LOL

Well maybe only 12 because she sleeps with hubby, doesn't dare take up room on my side of the bed :wink5: When dad leaves though we snuggle in bed until I decide to get up. Then I wash her face and used to do her topknot.. LOVE not having to do that anymore :)

Then we hang out all day and run errands ;)

I don't spend much time on grooming anymore, which I think we both love. I also try to take her on a walk everyday but with it being so cold lately it worries me having her outside for more than 15 minutes so its never a long walk like she likes

Well I spend all day with Sofia, except 10hr at night, because i sleep a lot lol. If i had to go out I'll take her with me even if I'm going to the grocery stores :o. As with grooming, it takes me around 1hr hour just brushing. And in bath day "i'm not even going there".

I have no idea how people can keep up with more than one Maltese. Is a lot of work.

I am one of the fortunate ones that gets to spend all day with my fluffs and all night! I probably spend about an hour a day grooming them; days with no baths and dry time; just brush outs........you don't want to know how long the day is when I bath and brush out all four! LOL

But when I am on the computer, they are right here with me........Buffy is almost always in my lap and Kallie under my chair with Brandy and Toby on a bed nearby.

And those days that I have to run errands..........I can't wait to get home to my little pack. :hearter:

I get to spend my days with Belle and Sammy and about 1/2 hour of that is grooming unless it's bath day, then it's a lot longer. Still getting the hang of what to do with all Sammy's hair. I have Belle trimmed down but it isn't even so we are growing it out then let the groomer try. Maybe by then Sammy will need trimming too. I found cute pics of puppy cuts that I'd like to keep him in.
We can't go for walks as it's below zero here and too cold for both. We do play ball and work on training and learning manners. They nap with me in the afternoon for about 1 1/2 hrs and sleep beside my bed in their crates at night. We were talking Belle with us where ever we went but that was before Sammy, now I'd like to be able to leave them home togehter (in their crates) so dh and I can go out alone. Hoping they won't be too barky when we are gone.:confused:o

Lucas and I spend all day (if a need go to the store and it's not a pet friendly he stays with MIL). We are so attached to each other that he follows me all day! LOL.. Sometimes I hide and he goes to every room to find me SOO cute! And at nights he sleeps touching my skin and he doesn't get up of bed until I do!! :o:hearter::tongue:

When Ava was younger, i brought her to work with me everyday. But besides that, if i'm home, or at my parents, or at my sister's, Ava comes with us. And even if i'm not actively playing with her, she's never more than 3 feet away from me. (like now, i'm sitting on the floor leaning against the couch and the little spoiled princess is curled up on the pillow on the couch behind me)

I spend about half an hour to an hour brushing her every other day (short coat and she doesnt get that matted) and she sleeps either curled up around my husband's head (his pillows are higher--silly Napoleon complex puppy) or my "little spoon" and she won't get up until I do.

I wish I didn't have to go to work and could just play with her all day, or bring her to work everyday still, but she is a bit bwappy.... (She does come every once in a while though..when i know its going to be a slow day)

Muffin and Boomer aren't getting as much attention from me lately because I work longer now :( Muffin is acting out now too. She's not listening and just running off...she's chewing things she's not suppose to :(
I now have to keep her on a leash just to go potty. Ooh she got in big trouble today for running off this morning.:(
I think I'll do another class with her....maybe that would help.

I can just imagine how long it takes with 5!! It takes about 20 minutes on non bath days to brush out, brush teeth, etc. I usually do top knots twice a day (funny how they come out so easily when they rub their heads on the carpet..or and help each other get rid of them). I now have bath and blows down to about an hour. I spend about 30 minutes a day training. During warmer weather, I walk the girls twice a day (short 15 minute walks).

Maybe you train them to groom each other?? LOL:lol2::lol2:
