Not a happy Easter for these 13 male maltese just placed in Wyong pound in Sydney . An elderly man is ill , and can no longer care for his 22 Maltese - all the girls have been adopted . The boys are between the ages of 1 and 6 . They are GORGEOUS and many have papers . Sarah P.S Hmmm , I might have to sneak another past Josh

Oh how horribly sad!!!:( :( :( :( Did they spay the girls before releasing them to new owners???? I think all rescue organizations require it here in the States(spaying and neutering) before an adoptee can go to it's forever home! That is such a sad picture. I hope they all find forever homes!!

Bren your still waiting for your little girl, maybe you should look into opening your home up to a beautiful rescue, gosh knows they could use a loving Malt owner like yourself.

How sad for any pet to be put in a shelter, and doubly sad that they are all such young Maltese. I know everyone takes the girls first, but I always love the boys. I hope they all find loving homes soon. I do hope that is a no-kill shelter. How was that person allowed to have so many dogs at one time?
