Well, I'm a little embarrassed to say, but I have never purchased anything off of ebay and I know little of nothing about it. I know my friend sells things there but she just does auctions. What do you have to do to set up a store? I would not want to auction the things I have in mind. I would want to set the price. Does e-bay get a portion of the sell? Do you accept pay-pal and if so how does that work? See....I am completely in the dark about e-bay. Anything you could share will be helpful. Thanks again.

I am so sorry I didn't get back to you. You do not have to list your items in an auction format, you can list your items with a buy it now price that you set. Setting up a store is very easy, it is $15 a month I think. Ebay just raised all of their fees, and I'm hating it. You pay a fee to list, a final value percentage fee and also a fee to paypal if your purchaser pays with that method. I would estimate that I pay $3 in fees for a $20 sell. I prefer paypal as it is easiest. People tend to flake on you if they have to go get a money order and mail it to you, they seem to pay right away and follow through much better if I only accept paypal payments. Paypal is a middle man for people to pay you with their credit or debit cards. You set up an account with paypal and you are able to pay or accept money from anyone with an email. When you are paid, money is put into an account, you can have it transferred to your bank account or you can apply for a paypal debit card that gives you complete access to your money.
The bad thing about ebay, is it is full of competition and copy cats. And a lot of ebayers are looking for cheap deals, but not all, of course.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks Jodi, my girlfriend has an antique business and she also sells some stuff on e-bay. She said she would show me what to do. However, since I originally posted this question my people jewelry has really began to pick up. Work of mouth and people seeing my products. I will let you know what I decide to do. Thanks again for your replies.
