Birth Announcement Apparel/Accesories

I'm looking a cute t-shirt/dress for Mitzy and a collar for Jake that says "It's a Boy/Girl" for when we find out the sex of the baby. I can't seem to find ANYTHING. I've cruised my main websites and google searched but nothing :confused: I could make Mitzy's but I want the collar and shirt/dress to match and I'm not sure I could swing the collar for Jake.

Anyone know where I can find these items??

Thanks Zuly!! I found the cafepress site but nothing really struck me. I figure the t-shirt or dress will be easy to make but I'm don't know what to do about the collar!!

Maybe just get him a pink/blue collar and have it embroidered?? :confused:

I found this site and you can design the shirt! I google for some baby imagen and I uploaded it.. Also you can put some text! Like is a boY OR GIRL!! :D

What about looking in a Baby's r Us ? or a clothing site for preemies?

If you have a printer you can buy the paper and you write and design what you want and to glue it to fabric you just iron it. Can't remember what it's called but you can buy it at Michaels or Fry's. I hope you get the idea I want to put across.

I've decided to make two dresses, one for Mitzy and one for my mom's dog Chloe to wear and then I found a local shop that will embroider them for me :) I think that is going to be the easiest way

For Jake I think I'm going to get him either a pink plaid collar or a pink bandana and have them embroidered as well. I didn't think it would be that hard to find birth announcements :confused:

I'll post pictures when I get the dresses done!! I want all the dogs to have something to wear to the baby shower :hearter:

Thank you!! I am due July 1st but it seems like it changes everytime we go in. It was July 5th but this last visit the date got moved up :)

Mine always came 3 weeks before there due date. I don't think they can give you an exact date which I know some people actually do :confused:

My doctor says anything 3 weeks before and up to 2 weeks after my due date is normal :eek: When I first found out we did a dating ultrasound (supposed to be really accurate) and it was July 4th so I figure anywhere the last week of June or first week of July she will come :) I'm hoping for July 4th though :hearter:

I was due July 4th with my second son I had him on June 28th :hearter: It would be so nice to have a 4th of July baby though, I was hoping for that too. :D

LOL I always dress Jake up!! More than Mitzy actually so you would think he (Josh) would be used to it!! I've never done pink on him before but its a celebration!! Josh will have to deal with it :tongue:
