Question for Natural Balance Users

Has anyone noticed their furbutt drinking more water since putting them on the Natural Balance dog food? My kids drink a lot of water and I'm not sure if it is the Natural Balance or the people food that I am adding to it!!! Any feedback would be helpful!

I think it's probably good that they're drinking lots of water. Of course, if they're drinking excessive amounts, you may want to talk to your vet about UTI...But I doubt that's the case. Is the people food salty or high in sodium? Maybe that could be why they're drinking so much...Sorry I don't have more info on the NB!! Emma refused to eat the dry :( She will only eat the rolls or canned...

Mia lately has been less water than when I first got her is that normal? I have aquestion that I have been meaning to ask so since Malteseluv brought it up I bought some sample NB rolls and they have wheat any info?:confused:

No, what I add to their food has next to no salt.....salmon, chicken and veggies. I may give the rolled Natural Balance a try just for a change up. Thanks for your input!!!!:)

LB drinks a lot anyways, even before the NB. So I don't see any difference.

:o Ya know I have noticed that Carol, Nemo is drinking alot why? I don't give him people food just NB.

Does Nemo drink more now that you switched him to NB than he did before you started him on it????

Alex is only on people food. He does not drink much. We don't like our food too salty, so I don't salt much. When he gets the food I prepared especially for him (in case we don't have any leftovers) there is no salt in it at all. Now when we have sausage and he gets some of it too, he drinks a lot more and that's probably because of the sodium content.

I never salt any of my food when cooking........we put salt on at the table if we desire it! Of course, living in such a warm climate may have something to do with it too!

My whole family are salt fanatics except for me and my 2 sons, I never had any desire to add salt except for corn on the cob or to boil water. Yes Nemo is drinking more now than he was..

No salt here also..only natural spices my hubby use to POUR salt over everything until his pressure went up........any comments on the NB rolls? Should I give them to her even if they contain wheat?

Are they a chewy? or an actual roll? or what? I like to know what I'm looking for when I have that crazed look on my face in the store!!! I shop at the PetsMart all the time so I'll take a look at it.

Now that you mention it Macy & Jazzy are drinking more water and they are eating Natural Balance. They are not drinking excessively I just notice I fill the water bowl up more often.

Guess that is what I've noticed too!!!!! I fill the bowl up more often but they are not drinking an excessive amount in my opinion either!!!

The rolls look like a thing of salami or sausage...They are not manufactured at any of the Menu Foods plants.
