Kallie had terrible separation anxiety when we first adopted her at 2 yrs. old. We would always come home to find poo or pee. I read a lot of articles and even called the vet. I went against everything I read and even what my vet said: "Getting another dog will not help her separation anxiety."

Well, what can I say but in an effort to help curb this..................We bought Toby and she hasn't had any separation anxiety issues since!!! NO, not even one single mess in the house in the last year!!! She's been cured!!!! THANKS to my little Toby boy!!:D

I'm not saying this is the cure that will work for others.........I'm just saying that this worked for us!

I have to say that we have been very lucky with every dog we've owned that there was not a problem with separation. Every time we left the house we made sure they had plenty of toys and esp. with Jack, his Kong filled with his favorite treats. He goes right for it and it keeps him busy.

In a couple weeks I must go out of town for about 18 hrs., and I'm concerned that something will happen to Babe...he'll be lonely; depressed; etc.

Suggestions to prepare him/me.

Thanks

Linda
