Snow woke up this morning and he threw up yellow stuff. It scared me since it was out of nowhere.. he wasn't walking anywhere and licking things off the floor or anything.. He was just sleeping on my bed! He can jump off the bed, but he can't climb back up. I didn't know what to do! I ran and gave him some water and washed his mouth... I put him down to see if he walks fine and he was ok.. What do you all do when your fluff throws up?? I checked his vomit and there was nothing in it, just all yellow and a bit foamy. I was going to go to the Vet after work, but since he's walking fine and he did eat during lunch, I'm not sure if I still need to go to the vet?? Please help!

So sorry Snow wasn't feeling better.
Well Sofia threw up the other morning and I just gave her a little bit of water and hold her morning meal. At her evening meal she was completely fine.
Sometimes she eats dust or anything she can manage to find and it cause her to vomit. But just giving her a little bit of water and holding the following meal will fix the problem.
I don't think there is need to take him. If it stop and he ate, then you are fine. But keep on watching him just in case and make sure he isn't eating something he shouldn't eat.

Mia, so glad Snow if feeling better. These little ones tend to vomit the yellow and foamy stuff when they haven't had food for awhile. Belle used to do it as she was too busy playing with our Lab to eat and she's vomit the yellow foam. I just wait a little bit then give her something to eat so there is something in their tummy. Snow is fine and if it happens again you'll know what it is. They can really scare us huh??;) Sammy sends puppy hugs to Snow since they've both scared their moms today.

Hi...What you are seeing from Snow is probably the type that when their tummy's are empty the acid in the stomach causes this to happen at times. The foam can either be yellow or white. When Snow does this give him a little food and/or treats, etc. Before bedtime give Snow a treat or two.

Well, looks like you got some great advice already. My two have also done this and it's usually caused by an empty stomach. So glad to hear that Snow is feeling better now (and I'm sure Mommy is too!! :D:D).

I totally agree Mia! I was so scared at first too with Lucas when that happened! But I did read and it says "Yellow foam suggests your dog is vomiting stomach bile. This is usually caused by an empty stomach and can be avoided by feeding your dog morning and evening to make sure his stomach does not stay empty for too long." So glad he feels better!:D:hearter: Lots of kisses to him and a high paw from Lucas!

It's bile and it's totally normal, they do this from time to time. Sometimes after Nemo eats he will throw up the whole thing :( I don't know why but it is rare. I would not worry about it, hope Snow is feeling better now :hearter:
