I am just wondering if those who have male fluffs in full coats dress them?
I put jammies on Sammy as seen in his album and he looks like he has big fuzzy slippers on his feet. Another thing I noticed is that the hair under their chins are done differently. Some have it long, some short. I think Sammy looks cuter with short hair there, I just hold it up to see how it looks and I like it. Is it difficult to trim that and how do I go about it?

I started getting my two used to the grooming process by holding the fur at their mouths and on their chin and saying "be still" while combing it on the other side. I would also hold closed scissors near their face and eyes and stroke the fur a little while saying "be still". This got them used to it. Now I can cut around their eyes and mouths without worrying that they'll move and get hurt.
Of Course you can dress up a boy!!! Boomer is wearing an argyle sweater and a matching bow right now.:hearter: Muffin has one like it too, but Boomer keeps taking it off of her.:blush:

I like to trim him!!! I've taken him to the groomer but I got some clippers so I can do it myself! I'd like some day have him in a full coat!! But for that I guess I need to stop trimming him! :lol2:

Sofia is full coat and I do dress her. Here is an idea. Buy a cute baseball shirt with a cute baseball bow and he will be manly, but super cute.:lol2:

I use to buy bows from her and I like it, because she sell lots for a cheap price.

Nikki and Kodie are both in puppy cuts. No full coats in this house! :o For me, it would be just too much work. They do look beautiful in full coat though. I let them get a little longer in the winter time so they aren't cold and I find that they will mat a lot more with clothes on when they are longer. They have lots of "manly" sweaters and coats though.

Unfortunately, I don't trim mine myself although I would love to learn. It would save me an awful lot of money!

amen to tat! I tried growing the hair and it became full time job! The puppy cuts are cute (as are the longer hairstyles) and problem free :)

Well I have a girl and I trim her body and upper jaw only. She looks weird naked but I do dress her when we have company.

If you do decide to trim the face do a little at a time until you get to the length you want because facial hair takes the longest to grow ;) The last time I had Mitzy groomed she cut her beard and its taking forever to grow back :( I personally like the longer facial hair but if you have a cute puppy cut the short face looks good :D

I have lots of clothes for the girls but because they are in full coat, I don't wear them or they would be a huge matt ball. Toby absolutely freaks out if I put any clothes on him. He goes into "FREEZE" mode the couple of times I tried to put clothes on him..........HYSTERICALLY FUNNY!!!!:lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2:

When I had them in short coats I did wear clothes on the girls. Maybe some day I will decide to cut them short but for now, I am loving the long coats that flow and fly when they run across the yard.:hearter::hearter:

I kept Riley in a full coat until today. I took him and got all of his hair cut off today including his topknot. His face had gotten very badly stained due to blocked tear ducts and i didn't want to cut his face hair very short and leave the rest of him long since it would look really strange to me so we will just start all over with growing him back to a full coat. I figure i did it once i can do it again. Here's a picture of Riley with his new haircut, he still has staining but it'll be gone in no time. :)

I was going to trim the hair under Sammy's chin but he seems to be drooling less and his face is easier to clean. I had lost my camera for a few days but found it last night so I can take pics again. Denny's brother has soem camera he might let me try out cause he wants to sell them. He says pics turn out best if you have them printed somewhere that has a photo shop.
