Astrology and our dogs

As a younger woman I took several astrology courses for fun. While I am not one to read a horoscope and take it seriously I do believe in astrology as a science (even though it makes no sense and shouldnt work...it seems to work for me!)
I am starting to see a correlation between sun signs and dogs. My piper is a typical pisces lady :)
Proud, friendly, jealous, loyal and beautiful. Pisces are thinkers. They weigh things. When the new puppy came home she stood back and observed for quite sometime before jumping in.
Lucy is a cancer. Cancers are the mothers of the zodiac and are fierce protective and nurturing...many (but not all) have bad tempers and my little lucy is a spitfire! and she tends to be so sweet with the new puppy. As if she knows hes a baby.She jumped in right away and seemed to love him.
Sagittarians (my boy) in human form march to the beat of their on drum... they become poets artists and can be movers and shakers n the biz world. LOL not sure what that means for a dog but I guess we will find out...what sign are your dogs? Yes the sex matters too.
The men and the women are very different....the months are different too.
Piper is a march pisces, which gives her different characteristics then a feb.
I may sound nuts but that's because I am an aquarian! LOL :D
I am just curious about your situations too :)

my daughter amanda is a sag and she is a wonderful person...she loves art and is very creative is all ways. She is sensible with money but enjoys nice things. Very thoughtful and sweet.

Daisy is a Taurus and Tessa is an Aries according to their birth months. But if it was solely based on their personalities, I would coin Daisy a Cancer and Tessa a good mix between Leo & Saggitarius. :rolleyes:

Jack is a May baby. The shelter wasn't too sure of the exact date so we picked the 31st because that is our wedding anniversary.
So, Jack could be a Taurus/Gemini combo or a Gemini.
With that said.....Jack would definitely take the 'bull' by the horns and toss him around the ring, he is stubborn but still very lovable and he is very loyal....just ask his lady love Kallie:awink:. He is a friend to the end, very outgoing, he's a very free spirit.
Now, if there is some Gemini in there...just the thought of a 'twin' out there scares me:lol2:. The idea there could be another 'Jack the Dragonslayer' on the loose and a 'Master Destruco' with the toys would be just too much.

Capricorn is a morepractical sign...pisces are feelers and thinkers. They are prone to jealousy :)

there are 3 things which dictate your personalty according to astrology...your sun your moon and your rising.
For example I am an aqaurian sun, with a leo rising an a taurian moon.

I am creative and a bit airy (aqaurius)...prone to being a bit vain and a little stubborn but protective with the things I love (leo), and and very into security and home and family (with another stubborn streak!).

Your moon is what you are emotionally...your rising is what lies just beneath the surface and the sun is what you show the world.
With dogs its tough because we need the actual time of birth to calculate things.

I too do not take astrology or any art of devination seriously, but I do find it fun & entertaining as it does hits certain spots. It could merely be satistical, made from good observations as most of these generalites can be applied to almost anyone. But I gotta say, I can't help asking people their sign when I meet them. Hi, I'm a saggitarius and you are...? :lol2:

And I try not to judge as there are a few signs I am not compatible with :blush:

You just described my aquarian ex-boyfriend to the "T!" :eek: I've always had an affinity to those under this sign, don't know why :confused: There's just something about the aquarian and saggitarian mix that makes for a good cup of tea. :coffee2:

Yes, I'm very familiar with Taurus. They are SO very stubborn & protective! :mad: (and it doesn't help that she's a yorkie either) I'm not keen on Aries, but what I do know is Daisy is a major softy and more inclined to my verbal commands, whereas my Taurus kiddo has to be told off more than a few times, however she's officially our security alarm system so it has it's benefits. But the neighbors may not like us too much :laugh:

This thought just popped in my head. When we are looking to add a pup to our family, maybe we should start asking their exact time of birth AND birthday and THEN investigate their sign to see if they would be compatible with OUR sign! Can you imagine telling a breeder that you don't want their pup because their sun and moon isn't in the right place? :eek:

Noelle's birthday is December 15th- i know she's a sagittarius like my youngest son (who happens to be very sarcastic with a dry, warped sense of humor, extremely honest and doesn't bs...he will tell you like it is,very intelligent but lazy when it comes to education...he feels that he shouldn't have to apply himself and he should already know everything...this kid can be very frustrating at times because of his intelligence).

its the sex thing again...taurus women can hang onto things. They sometimes take pride to an extreme...

chloe is a virgo...in the people world sept virgos are the perfectionists of the zodiac. August is much less so...they ill be less extacting and a little more fun loving....but if you want to hire someone, whether its a plumber or a lawyer...make it a virgo :) They are usually very good at what they do!
noelle is a female and its buffered by her sex. The one thing they (male and female) have in common s that they are born leaders...they are best in command.....I wonder what this means for a dog? LOL
Nov 6th is a scorpio. Scorpions feel things to an extreme, whether its love, hate, depression or happiness. They are very intuitive people, especially the men. They have eyes that seem to see right throug people. You can always spot a scorpio bc they tend to have beautiful piercing eyes.
