So I am just interested in having one thread that I and all other newbies can look at for product suggestions. I would LOVE to know your secret to keeping your fluffs white and soft?:wink5: (i.e. shampoos, conditioners, leave-ins, brushes, etc)
-I personally have fallen in love with the Madan line for brushes and combs. I Love the variety in the line that allows you to find the perfect brush for your fluff.
-I have been searching for a really good shampoo and conditioner. Right now I have the Bio-groom line. Fluffy puppy for when I get my little guy that won't irritate his eyes and Silk conditioner for a shiny healthy coat. Haven't found any real whiteners I can swear by but I am interested in what you guys use.
-I have read that the Paul Mitchell line is good as well as the CC line. I have never used these so... what do YOU use...let us know!
Thanks for reading:tongue:

You name it and I've tried it. :lol2::lol2::lol2:
I only use CC combs and brushes......they are my very favorite. Yes, they are very expensive but in my opinion worth every dollar!!!
I recently used the CC Spectrum 10 products and especially LOVED the Spectrum 10 Hydro Pac. Even the hubby noticed a tremendous difference in combing out the hair after their bath and left their hair feeling soft and silky and amazingly, to me, the product is not that expensive.
I ordered the pure paws shampoo and the pure silk conditioner on recommendation by someone else but have yet tried it but when I do, I'll write a review.
Same with the Iv San Bernard......bought lots of products but haven't used any as of yet but plan on it shortly. :)
Nature's Specialties has some nice products and are gentle on the coats. I like to use the Quicker Slicker for a brush out. Smells great too!
Cowboy magic is one of my "stock" items for getting out any tuff matts. A little goes a long way, it smells nice and more importantly, IT WORKS!!! I don't, however, like their shampoo or condtioner.
I have also used the Wampum products and they are nice but I don't fine they work any better than some of the above products and they are a bit pricey as well.
OHHHHHHH, I almost forgot the Spa Blueberry facial scrub........great stuff and another "stock" item in my grooming items. :D
Ok, so there are a few products I like and a few I'm not keen on. Let us know what you try. :)

I use Earthbath shampoos for my girls. I prefer SPA almond milk conditioner. These products are all natural. I use a Madan brush. I love it because it does not pull the hair out. I do not use de-tangling sprays. Although they do remove mats, they make the hair more likely to tangle. A lot of them tend to make the hair "sticky." I have found that plain water works just as well.

I haven't found the conditioner that I love. I also read paul mitchell was good, but from what I read here CC is really good. I currently use Dove human condi, and It works on Sofia's hair. But he is a puppy and I don't suggest you that. I hope someone here will help you.
As for the brushes don't buy the #1 system, big waste of money. I need to buy a new comb and brush and so far I am aiming for the CC.
I like Ez-groom colognes, smells super good. I use it with the ez-groom shampoo, the baby powder one.
I used the Kenic like and I like it too.
The one thing that I learned is, not every maltese respond the same way to a product. Ex. Someone here like the Ice on Ice and on Sofia's coat it was too drying. So what works for Sofia not necessarily will work on your fluff.
You have to patiently look for it.:awink: Good Luck and sorry I wasn't any help.:o

I normally dont used the same products.
I rotates every bath.
products I had used: was suggested by Pani breeder
Crown Royales shampoo / conditions formula 1 and their Magic Touch Grooming spray.
Nature's Specialities - Plum Silky shampoo and RE-MOISTURIZER conditioner.
I had used CC but for some reason their products doesnt work well on Pani.
I"m hoping the new products with Spectrum Ten along with Hydro Pac will work wonder like others here.
for facial wash I used to wash it with facial SPA. I love the smell.
at the moment I'm using Anna tear stain remover http://www.castlebaths.com/small-face-trio.html so far so good. Notice its getting lighter.
but the key is to wash the face daily and thats what i'm lacking at the moment.

I don't want to post cuz my girl is not white and fluffy at the moment
But when I do get into grooming I absolutely love Isle of Dog N16 whitening shampoo. It claims you can use it weekly but I stick to once a month and to be honest I skipped weeks due to lack of time.

The shampoo/conditioner I use the most is Chris Christensen Spectrum 10. I use it for maintenance baths and on show days. I keep my show dogs in oil though so I also use a clarifying shampoo for show baths to get the oil out. I like Coat Handler also and Dove Go Fresh conditioner. But the product I buy gallon sizes of is Spectrum 10.

I use the SPA Lavish blueberry facial scrub, SPA Colors whitening shampoo and conditioner and I alternate with Bless the Beast shampoo and conditioner. I use J&J No More Tears baby shampoo on her head. I comb her with a steel comb and use PetHead Furball detangling spray. That's it - I found things that work well for Em and have stuck with them! Em's groomer also uses "The Stuff" on her, but I've never used it at home.

I use the Spectrum 10 line, and Hydro Pac also love the Ice on Ice. Love this line been using it almost a year and still love it, the dilution rate is great and super cost effective
I do switch between bath days to using just Baby Magic Hair & Body wash and either Gartiner or Pantene conditioner. Lavis Spa hands down also :)
Brush, I did try and sometimes use the Maden brush but I have small hands and find it awkward even when using the oblong, I much prefer the CC Brushes, I also use just a Oyster comb and flea brush on facial area's

I use the spa lavish blueberry face wash and I use earthbath for shampoo and conditioners. I also have the earth bath wipes and a spritz for puppies too. My combs/brushes are nothing special at the moment. :)

I use them all but let me tell you there is a fairly new product and to me there is nothing like it! Pure Paws White Magic, try it. I like all listed here. I rotate all of these products and some not mentioned.

Honestly, I'm scared to try this product because it's semi-permanent. I wanted to try it for urine stains on a show coat but was cautioned against it. instead, i diulute the No Rinse and their Ultra Bright shampoo together and let that sit on the stains and that does an ok job. Maybe one day i'll be brave and try this on a non-show coat and see how it works!

I prefer the Chris Christensen brushes and combs too. Carol gave me my first brush and I fell in love!! I also have a few buttercombs and they are AMAZING!! Pricy but SO worth it!! Especially if you are trying for a full coat.
I like the Iv San Bernard line of shampoos and conditioners currently but the conditioner I love the most for Mitzy is Fur Butter. It has been and always will be a staple for us. She has very cottony hair and it works wonders
Another staple for us is the Spa Lavish for her face!! :)
Can't forget the Cowboy Magic for mats, magical stuff!!

I talked to a man that has show dogs and they are Maltese, he represents Pure Paws and he told me what a great product that it was and he uses himself! My Chantilly was in the show ring at one time before I purchased her and I keep in in show coat. I would love for you to tell me more information. I will contact this man again to asked what you are talking about. Appreciate your input! I dont use it at every shampoo but it is trully amazing!

Thanks so much ladies for all the reviews and recommendations wrapped in one!! I will also try some new things. Gianni's coat is really beginning to take length and it grows so amazingly fast! He doesnt have really thick hair which I am not sure is a good or bad thing. His topknot is not thick and I hate that! I am not sure if it is because of his age or because of me not puting enough hair up. Anyone knows anything about the hair growth and texture on the head?
