pads on feet

So I was bathing Ava, and I noticed that one of the pads on her feet came off....wait-- before you freak out, the skin LOL. its like..pink again. And the pad came was knotted in her fur. Now this probably happened today while I was at work because it wasn't there this morning and i bathed her as soon as I got in (i did however change my clothes because she gets me as wet as she is =/)

is this normal? She does lick her feet alot, so I didnt know if it was because of that. she seems fine, it isn't hurting her when i touch it and she's walking normal. Just figured I'd ask because its never happened before!

YIKES.........I've never heard of that. Does the pad area look raw??? or just pink???? I can't imagine she would chew it to that point without it hurting. Was her paw completely black before??

I guess as long as she is not limping on it, it must be okay. If it appears the underneath skin is exposed, I might try putting something topical on it to help it heal and not get infected.

You know, Lil' Man's paws were super duper dry and the vet remove them when he got neuter. Now there smoother and he didn't seem to mind it.

its just a bit pink in the center, and, like i said, its not bothering her at all. i am however, keeping a watch on it.
