Okay so I just PMed everyone on my list for our first MT SCE & boy what a feat that was! When I found out the limit on recipients per outgoing mail, I was doing it in 2's.

Luckily we only have a small group of participants, can you imagine how many times it would take me to copy & paste the same message if I was to do this over at YT :fainted:
Is there a way around this?

Oh and don't get me started on the limit on smilies! :lol2:

I can sent the same PM to "five" different people........maybe because I am a moderator??? Not sure! But hey, it keeps you out of trouble so that's saying something!:lol2::lol2:

You have what I call "moderator power" and privileges. I tried to send to 3 different SNs and it would tell me my limit is 2. I've fumbled with this about 5 times with serveral different combinations - all the same result. :(

For smilies I'm limited to 10 and I always get that message! I wonder why? :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Carol, I would like to know if there is a way to bypass this? This has been brought up before. I know as moderator you can send up to more than 2 recipients at a time, but it's not the case for us normal users. It makes sending/forwarding the same message to multiple MTers a difficult task, especially during card exchanges. Is there a way to make PMing more fast and efficient for us? Thanks, appreciate all you do :)

The only suggestions I have to offer is to send a PM to ADMIN requesting that they increase your limit to five for the same reasons you listed on this post. Maybe if enough members make the request, they will make the necessary changes with regard to the number of PMs that can be sent out at one time. As far as the emoticons go, I am also limited to 10 per post......imagine that........limiting "ME" to 10! :p:p:p:p

I am happy to inform that Admin has increase the limit to 5 recipients per e-mail. This will make it so much easier for me to pm multiple users. I still need to test this though :blush:

It will make this year's SCE a cinch :)

Ay Thuy, I had to sneak back in mamas computer because she's having a breakdown. Since my sis needs dental work she's being so strict on her spending money. But I did wag my tail and look pretty, so we will see.

Tell your mama we understand. Dental cost an arm and a leg over here too. Kinda sucks MT GE occurs once a year, if at all. I'm hoping for some of the old members to rejoin. Either way we got our fix, just in case.

Speaking of which.. I need to start pming 5 members. If you get a message from my little Daisy - you've been warned! :D

We aren't really limited to 1 GE a year........we just don't have enough participation most of the time to have a GE. If we can get at least five members, we could probably have three GE a year or maybe more.

Yes it was before your time........ we've had seven over the last few years. But again it was not because ADMIN did not let us have a GE, it was because we never could get enough members to participate.
