how do i get my dog to eat her vitamins

so i bought the gnc vitamins for my dog in the peanut butter flavor but she doesnt want to eat it..i want her to take it cuz i want her to be heathly..the vet said she is heathly but jus tin case i want her to stay heathly. what do you guys do in order for your dog to eat her vitamin,this vitamin s onyl say to feed half of the tablet since she under 10lbs.so its a tiny piece..should i break it in a smaller piece and put it in her food..or just wait and she if she eat the tablet

I guess I have never given my fluffs extra vitamins as they should be getting all they need in their food. If you crush it up and mix it with the food she might just eat it and not notice. Otherwise if it's small you could put it in a piece of cheese.

Mine like pill pockets so I can usually sneak stuff in them but not sure how big the vitamins are. What kind of dog food are you feeding her?

She may eat it just on its own but if not I usually put pills in a peice of cheese

I use cheese or a piece of Hot Dogs and cross my finger's. Reggie can eat around anything with his tongue and spit it out so we open his mouth toss a pill in and hold his head back and stroke his throat until he swallows it and of course he is only one on meds always:(:(

I give both Chip and Smokey GNC joint supplements and even though it's the peanut butter flavor, they won't eat it either. I got a pill crusher and crush it up in about a teaspoon of wet food. They eat it up that way.

I have to mush their pills cuz even crushed they will eat around it. Make it dusty and put it in there food. Preferably wet.

I rip off a small piece of Pupperoni (dog treat) and stuff the pill in the middle.. he will never know... :D
