I have been feeding my Bella the Natural Balance Venison & Brown Rice Formula (canned) and the dry Royal Canine. I was reading on the Natural Balance website that it is recalled..........Now I am worried!!!! I have been trying to call the 1 800 number and it has been BUSY..........I am calling my vet in the morning and checking with them. Has anyone been feeding the canned like me????????

We have one can of Venison & Brown Rice, but I never ended up giving it to Emma. It's sitting in our pantry. I think they said it's only the dry, but if I were you, I would probably not give her any Venison & brown rice, just in case...They were supposed to make an update to their website yesterday, but I still haven't seen anything new. You can try checking www.fda.gov and see if they have updated it there. I hope your babies are okay!!!

I went to the website and no new updates. FDA has not recalled the venison and brown rice kibbles. That is the only dog product I have seen mentioned on the Natural Balance website. I called the Petco since on their website the venison/br. rice has been removed from their list of Natural Balance products and the person told me to take my two bags back to the Petco store I purchased them from and switch them to the duck and potato. So I am doing that tomorrow. I would not at this point feed any dogs the venison and brown rice kibble or canned. JMO

They just updated the website...Canned and dry is contaminated with melamine!! Stop feeding all Venison & Brown Rice

no problem, this is all just getting to be too much. If you read the other thread I started, you can read that the ingredient they think was contaminated with melamine is rice protein concentrate. Melamine is the same toxin found in the wheat gluten in the Menu Foods recall...This is just getting plain scary.
And now they've recalled olives?!? I just bought olives!
