Okay, I have been MIA for a while, between finals, wedding planning, and family issues...life has been a bit chaotic! But, I'M BACKKKKKK! (haha :p) I, of course, found time to shop...and shop I did! I bought the Chris Christensen Spectrum 10 set, White on White set, as well as the Ice on Ice. It is awesome! I cannot believe how wonderful his coat came out. It took very well and I am pleased with the results. I think the next thing I *might* try is the Isle of Dogs line. But, he had the show dog quality white and silkiness to it. I will have to post some before and after pictures of him.
Thanks for everyone who recommended all the wonderful products to try! I also bought some Himalayan Chews and I can't wait to try those out!

Glad Spectrum 10 worked out for you! I'm not a fan of Isle of Dogs - spent a small fortune on the products that are just sitting here. Left the coat kind of stringy. i buy gallons of the spectrum 10 :)
I would recommend using the White on White sparingly - not every bath because it's super drying and if used to much, they can even come out looking dingy/purplish.
Definitely post pics!!

Brooke!!!! You're back!!!! Missed seeing you around!! Glad you're back!! :D
I am trying to finish up all of the products that I have before I buy anymore  but the Spectrum 10 is on my list to try! I really like the Ice on Ice too. Never tried Isle of Dogs though. Thanks for the review. Glad you liked your new products and looking forward to seeing some pics!! :)

Okay, I have a question about the Himalayan chews. They are not very big to begin with and if they chew very long they can get pretty small. Do you not worry about them swallowing them? I have given them to my two but I always watch like a hawk and take them away cause I worry too much.
Lori and I have been debating the bully sticks being swallowed but with those you start off a lot bigger.
I use the CC products too and you need to try the Spectrum 10Hypro Pak. I love what it does to their coats. I sent an email to CC regarding their new Holiday scents of shampoo which I can't wait to try but wondered if you use conditioner over that will you still smell the Holiday scent? They said it should still hold the smell even with conditioner. Guess I'll have to order one and try.
Brooke, so glad you're back and can't wait to see pictures.

I love the spectrum line of products from CC..........never had such a tame coat on the fluffs like I do now. I have tried the Isle of Dogs and don't like it........I only used it once but it was a blah blah product.......JMHO. I ended up giving it to my son for his chi! I also like the coat handler products that Stacy mentioned and always have a supply in my grooming closet.

Thanks so much for the advice...can count on you to know your stuff! I did notice that the White on White is drying. It might have even dried up a small patch of skin on him. He had little small bumps that looked like a rash. I ended up sterilizing with peroxide and putting a small dab of neosporin on it. It has cleared up now.
I am preparing the photos now. Been so busy with everything and forgot to post the pictures.

Yes, I am back! I been way too busy with classes, exams, family (ugh), and wedding. Had enough time to shop a little and got Gianni some new things to try. So I wanted to stop by and leave a review or two, LOL. I definitely think about all of you ladies here. And I tell Gianni all the time he has to look as good as Nikki and Kodie do! LOL.
I haven't received my chews just yet, but, I am hoping they get here soon.

Thanks so much Sue! I was taking a look at the Holiday scents as well and was actually going to ask some people whether or not they have tried it. Just remember that right now they have a deal where if you buy anything they will give you a sample of your choice. So that makes it a bit easier. Maybe you can buy the Holiday Shampoo and get a small sample of conditioner to see... or the other way around LOL.
I have a bad experience with the bully sticks and that's the reason I am trying the chews. I bought Gianni a bully stick to help with his teething fix and he got to the end of it and swallowed the thing. I look down in time to hear a big "GULP" and nearly flipped my lid. He just looked up at me like "What's your problem mom?" He is fine and it passed well, if you know what I mean. But besides, that scare and the horrid smell, I hate what it is made of and also discovered it contributed to his flatulence issue.:lol2: Since the chews are more natural and have just a slight smell I have decided to try that. They do have bigger and thicker ones so maybe you could try one of those to help ease your mind Ms. Safety Police! (I love the fact that you worry enough so the rest of us don't have to, LOL):lol2:
Once I actually get them I will let you know how it goes.

Grooming Closet, huh. (Sigh, Show Off)! :p
I am sure with all those silky white and tan coats you have to have a closet. I just have cabinets, LOL. I am glad to have some more input about the Isle of Dogs. I don't want to waste the money...I wouldn't have anyone to give mine to since everyone her mostly uses something else. I am so happy to be back by the way...thanks for the warm re-welcome! Haha!

Brooke, did you order from Westbrookdog.com? They are wonderful and have no smell. We just got an order of them and the babies were going crazy. I smelled them after they chewed them and there is no bad smell. I take them away at a couple 3 inches long. You know they do come in like 36 inch sizes...why do you think cows are so happy:sidesplit::sidesplit:

OMG. So much to learn! I have bathed mine 2times with regular puppy shampoo. She gets grass stains on her feet with all the rain not to mention just getting dirty when she eats!
When can I start using whitening products on my 10 wk old?
Where do I locate the goods? I am a hair stylist and am tempted to use my blinding shampoo with a purple tint but I know it's probably not good for dogs, also how often is too much to bathe her...

Stick around and you will learn a ton. The wealth of knowledge and experience here will prove to be priceless!
I think if you post this into your own thread you might get more answers since everyone probably won't read this one. But, I would wait a while longer before using the whitener/clarifying shampoo. I did not start using it until Gianni was about 3.5 months old. I would not use human shampoo that is specially formulated to treat specific hair. Some people here do but it is usually conditioner or baby shampoo. But the blinding shampoo you mentioned sounds a little risky to me. The purple tint is in the White on White by Chris Christensen. And there are blue tints as well. You can find those all over. The key is to not use whiteners too much because it is drying. Esp. White on White. I would recommend no more than once a month for that. But bathing...that is completely up to you and your preferences. I bathe Gianni once a week. I just can't stand for him to smell like a dog. He is my little baby boy and so I like him to smell sweet, haha! This too, you do not want to do too often because you want the natural oils to come out. If you are like me and want to have a weekly bathe then find yourself a really good conditioner like Silk from Bio-Groom or Spectrum 10 by Chris Christensen.
Really good websites for affordable but name brand stuff is:
jefferspet.com (http://jefferspet.com) (great...I order flea stuff from here and raincoat)
petedge.com (http://petedge.com)
pawtasticpet.com (http://pawtasticpet.com) (bought my SPA blueberry scrub from here)
cherrybrook.com (http://cherrybrook.com) (can buy 10$ sample packs of Chris Christensen)
chrissystems.com (http://chrissystems.com) (official Chris Christensen website)

Brooke, did you order from Westbrookdog.com?
No I actually ordered the chews from a MT member here. His name is Ryan and his website is "Click Here" (http://www.NewPuppyPads.com/treats_chews.html). He was the cheapest I could find with shipping factored in. He ships fast and has great communication as well. I cannot remember his MT name but if you search Himalayan chews it will pop up. Or you could ask Carol. LOL.

The Churpi Chews come in different sizes...small, medium and large and maybe even jumbo. I always buy the small ones and take them away when they are small enough to fit in their mouths. Kodie has a hard time holding them so a lot of times he will sit on my lap and I hold it so he can chew on it. Nikki has no problem holding it himself though!! :)
