View Full Version : ? about the bully stix recall thread from earlier this month

I just saw this and just gave a bully stix to Coco yesterday. If I am reading the thread and bullitin correctly, the brand is American Bullie. I have the one made by Merrick. Is that one ok? I looked at the Merrick site, and they had a memo that their food was not affected by the recalls, but nothing about treats.

Thanks for any info you can give me. I'm a new mommy, and I just can't even keep up with what is going on!

I'm pretty sure the Merrick ones are ok but Malteseluv is our eagle eye and expert about all the contaminated stuff!!! Hopefully she will see your post and respond!

my kids love the merricks toothpicks :T they look like bullysticks but with minty flavor in the middle!

Yeah, as far as I know, Merricks is okay. The American Bullie ones were recalled. I'm not familiar with that brand....

Thanks! I'm also hoping, that since the one I have says it is beef tendon, it is NOT what I have been reading they are made of.:tongue8:

Yuck!! I would never be able to give my babies bully sticks...I know what they are, and can't bring myself to get them...
