Fresh Pet new chew treat

Denny buys the dogs FResh Pet Select at the grocery store and he brought home a new item they have out. They are like a chew bone type thing and are made of brown rice and they do have chicken in them. They are refrigerated also. I opened them for my babies and laughed as they are so solid I swear they each weigh a pound.:lol2: Sammy of course took his right away and hid it in his bed, then came back for Belle's.:mad: Belle kept looking at it like," really, I'm suppose to carry that heavy thing around?" I put it in on her blanket and she licked it a few times but little miss priss found out they get kind of sticky and wanted no part of sticky.:eek: You also have to put them back in the frig. when they aren't chewing on them and only keep for 14 days after opening. I think they are good for them but I'm thinking they need a smaller size for little dogs. But even with a bigger or medium dog I think they would last quite awhile. I hate to tell Denny I don't think they will eat them so I just keep taking them out and putting them away.:o
I think my two are spoiled by the bullies I buy from Westbrookdogs.com. They are premium bullies with no odors and no stringy things.

I saw those at Wal-Mart the last time I was there and thought they looked awfully big too and the fact that you had to use them in 14 days discouraged me from buying them. They look like they would be great for bigger dogs though. Does Sammy like it?

Thanks for the review Sue!!!! I only give my fluffs the things I make because I am afraid that any commercial products will aggrevate Toby's HGE and I don't every want to see him with that again. I know it is a shame because I can't give any of the girls stuff because of him but I spoile them in other ways.

Sammy chewed it until he found out it was sticky then he just sat and growled at it. I went to take them away and had to look for one of them.:mad: Guess who little "Mister Hoarder" had already stashed it down in the recliner.:eek: That would have ben pleasant to find in a week or so.:mad: I just don't know why they made them so heavy. I can see it if it was something they can just have and chew when they want but you can't just leave them out. I'm going to send FP an email and give them my opinion as I am on their little board of user comments. Got my new supply of bully sticks today so mine are set for awhile. When I think they are all gone, then I go and search Sammy's beds and the recliner and usually find 2 or 3.:lol2:
