I was taking a quick break from painting and stumbled upon this:

http://www.freshpatch.com/

Sounds like a good idea! lol No worry about the pee pads or bad weather at least.

No, I'm too lazy to pick the pads, I can't imagine me cleaning the tray. I hope some can help you out. Also google reviews of it. Maybe someone has write something about it.

That's what I need for Mitzy in the winter!! I have to go out with her to make sure she pees in the grass and not on my porch

She isn't pad trained so maybe a patch of real grass in the garage is what she needs!!

Never used it but I wonder how often you would need to order? I assume the grass wouldn't live long since its in a box? Or do you plant it somewhere? LOL

I can't remember but I think it said that it would last for a month???? Maybe that's just wishful thinking but there's more information about that on the website I think.

I'm too lazy to clean pans etc. too and am satisfied with the pee pads on the porch for after dark but I thought this might help train the babies to go on the grass.

Nope, just checked the website and it's weekly use. The payment is monthly!

I have never seen this particular one but I would LOVE to have something that Nikki would use during the bad winter weather. Last year was BRUTAL with all the snow and ice we had and it was so hard to get him to do his business because he kept looking for a patch of grass and there was none to be found!!! I wonder if he would use this.........:scratchhd:

But hey, couldn't you just get a piece of sod and throw it in a box? :awink:

I've seen those before. Daisy and Tessa uses the Ugodog which I lined with either a disposable or washable pad underneath the grate.

I actually have heard of it and thought it to be a great idea until I read that it only lasted a week...........now of course with five dogs using that little tray, I don't think it is very practical for my pack. But in Florida, you don't have that many occasions when you can't take the fluffs out because of weather.

But for someone that has only one fluff and has the money to invest, I think it is a great idea especially for those who live in weather conditions that make it difficult to potty their fluff outside.

I've never seen the real grass ones before but they wouldn't work for me cause they are such in door dogs. The fake grass you want no part of, cleaning that stuff is terribe. I use the Tinkle Tray and threw the fake grass away. I do buy super cheap pee pads and put inside under the grate. I can't quite see me carrying a big tray full of urine to empty:eek: I do buy better pads to keep in the "doggy diaperbag" but the cheap ones work good for the trays.

I'm happy with pads. Lil' Man the only one that really goes outside all the time and well my girls can be lazy

Grass is too much mess for JiJi's soft poop.

Never hear about it! Lucas uses pads, if it's during the day and his pads it's not clean he would go outside:fainted::fainted: But before I go to bed I make sure he has clean one:tongue:

That must be for rich people because it comes out to about $80.00 a mo. $960.00 a yr.

Can I afford $80.00 a month. Yes. Will I spend it for a dog, for potty. No way.

I would love to have that for my garage. Tebow will not go out in the rain...maybe he would use that.....maybe i could do it myself with rye grass which is fast growing.

If you only needed it for rainy days it would probably work. I would think you could grow Rye grass pretty quickly. Maybe even on one of those boot mats they sell for dirty and wet boots. You may have to make a few holes in it for drainage. Otherwise the potty patch may work. Let us know what you do.

I totally agree especially since we have way more grass than C could use in three lifetimes!

Cig, I'll bet you could do this with rye grass. But, would it grow too fast?
