Sammy is getting a hair cut tonight.

OMG, if you never hear from me again it's because my try at cutting Sammy's hair goes very wrong:eek: Since his last bath his hair has been driving me crazy and so it's going away tonight. It's going through the change from puppy hair to adult hair and I'm going to help it along. Have no idea how to do this but I have a comb and I have scissors so how hard can it be?:lol2::lol2: I set the grooming table up on the diningroom table and all 3 are eyeing me with wary eyes. Belle will be next but I'm trying to wait till we get soft water again, hopefully next week. I can't wait to give Rosie's a bath so she smells like my CC products and not that "other" stuff. I washed her one little dress she came in and it still smells like that perfume smell.:mad: Maybe that little dress will have to go away for ever!:D I found one little dress on ebay that was listed as a warm dress so I bid on it and got it. Not hard to do on ebay. They have so many cute and really cheap dresses and outfits on there. Alot are coming from Korea which I know I should buy american but the prices are so low who can turn them down.:o Dresses and hoodies for like a couple bucks. If you watch, some are even free shipping. They take a while to get but they ship the next day after you buy them. I also have some fleece left from a blanket I made and I'm going to cut a little shirt apart and make a pattern. I'll have to sew it by hand but maybe Denny will feel sorry for me and sew them:D Rosie's new daddy really likes our new little girl.

Oh boy. Poor Sammy. Looks like I'll have to go out shopping this weekend for some clothes for him to cover up the butcher job you are about to do.......:lol2::lol2: What size is he now?? XXL??!!! :lol2::lol2: Is there a "husky" section for dog clothes?? :confused:

Okay, I did it and now I want my fluffy baby back:(:cry2: He was such a good boy the whole time and his sisters sat on the back of the couch and watched the entire process. Belle was very nervous, probably figured she was next.:lol2: I love how soft and fluffy Sammy's short coat is but I want his fluffy again. Carol, I promise, no more scissors for Sammy. He likes to roll around in the new bed, I imagine it feels different when you're half naked.
If I can still walk in awhile I'm giving Belle and Rosie a bath and Belle needs a trim and Rosie is so hacker up that I'm going to even her out. I still have to go over Sammy with the blending scessors to cover cut marks. Rosie still smells like that crap her breeder uses. Plus I found the papers we brought home with Rosie and I was upset, guess I still am. I was told she was 4 or almost 5. Rosie turned 6 in June:mad: I know a year shouldn't matter but I don't like being lied to:mad: Denny loves the little one and she is so funny. You can't even rattle a paper in the kitchen let alone open the refrigerator and she's there. This little one loves food. Belle had a bully stick and Rosie took it away and was chewing on it.:lol2: No need to cut them smaller I guess. She's a fiesty one too, she growls at Belle and takes toys away from Sammy.:lol2:
Oh, one more thing about Sammy's haircut....If I put a dress and bow of him he would be a very pretty girl:(

Oh Sue!!! I think he looks ADORABLE!!!!!! I do trim Lucas hair but it doesn't look that good than Sammy's!! I think if Lucas sees this picture he would want to go with u so u can trim him too:)

Ok Sue, I have to stop laughing to type this. And no, I'm not laughing at his haircut but rather your description of the ordeal...err..ummm..uhhh...I mean the "haircut". Sorry. I think he looks cute and I bet he weighs a lot less too!! :lol2: He might be around 10 lbs now! I think he looks adorable and ya know something, that short cut will really grow on you when you don't have so much hair to brush and wash and dry! I LOVE mine when they are short. They are so tiny under all that hair....well, maybe not Sammy. :tongue:

And don't worry about Rosie being a year older than what you thought. She's your little girl now whether she is 6 months or 6 years and that's all that matters.

You know it's funny and I think it's because she's so tiny that we tend to treat her like a puppy instead of an adult dog. She's holding her own and her daddy is recovering from my shopping spree on ebay. Hey a girl has to have clothes.!:lol2: The bad thing is most of the dresses on ebay are for summer. They must not think we people of the North get cold or wear clothes on our dogs.:( But just wait till next sping, this little girl will be stylin':D

Sammy looks wonderful in his new cut. I absolutely love it. That's how I normally do JiJi except I use the clippers with her.

On Rosie's paper I would be mad to for the same reason. There is no need to lie about age unless she really doesn't know how to keep track of time.
