Toby is my six year old Yorkie and he just cracks me up at times with his antics. He has his peculiar potty habits but shows great signs of intelligence.
So what do I mean?

Well, Toby knows that if he goes pee, he gets a couple of liver treats. If he does poo, he gets liver treats AND some cheese. Well he will go out in the morning first thing and pees and so I give him a liver treat. About five minutes after he goes pee, he let's me know he has to go out again to poo. He goes out and does his business, comes running back in and heads right to the fridge for this liver treats AND his cheese. The hubby tried to fool him the other day and just gave him treats for the poo job. Toby would NOT let him rest until he was given his cheese. When Bob didn't give him the cheese, he came to me and I asked him what he wanted and he took me right to the fridge where I keep the cheese. Once I gave him the cheese, he was content and went to get a toy to play. What a fluff!!! My first male dog and my first Yorkie. He definitely brings something to the pack!!! Love that little guy. :hearter:

It's amazing how smart they are! I'm still figuring out the extent of their intelligence. Toby sounds so funny!

That's sooo cute. Toby can not be out-smarted by his pet humans. Tessa is very proud of her man

Yorkies are such a demanding breed :lol2: Gotta love 'em :hearter:

Jack is so proud of his bro.
Before I leave in the morning, I quietly try to get the ice container out of the freezer before Jack comes storming in. Doesn't work tho, he can be sound asleep in one of the bedrooms, and as soon as I open that darn freezer, I turn around and there he is sitting and looking up at me. I have to give him 3 baby cubes, one at at time and then he goes right back to bed. I tried doing only one but he won't budge till he gets his 3. These dogs are so smart and they know what they want.

Toby has to keep his humans in line with his routine what's the use of having humans if they can't be trained:lol2: My three are the same way with their potty treats. If one pees they assume they all should have a liver treat. So they take turns especially in the evening. Sometimes Sammy tries to be sneaky and just goes and walks around on the pee pad then comes over to me and wants a treat. I tell him no it didn't count and he tried the scraping his feet thing. He is learning quickly that all it gets him is squirted with the water bottle. I swear Belle has a watch hidden on her or has learned to tell time. We feed them their last meal at about 9PM and at quarter to nine she starts pawing at Daddy to get up and feed them. They are so smart it scares me sometimes. I guess it's best that Toby and Belle don't get together.:lol2:

Add Tebow to the mix and things could get really interesting. Tebow does the potty trick too at times. He rings his bell and out he goes to pee. Know he has to poo but he doesn't so back in we come. 10 minutes later the bell rings again and out we go again. Anything for attention and treats.

Undeniably imagine that that you said. Your favourite reason seemed to be on the net the simplest thing to take into account of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed at the same time as other people consider worries that they just do not know about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the top and also outlined out the whole thing with no need side effect , people can take a signal. Will likely be again to get more. Thank you

Awww!!! What a cute little story, Carol! Sounds like Master Toby has trained you well!!! These little things that they do are just so endearing to us, aren't they? I only have 3 but they are all so different in their little personalities.
