Pictures of my problems

Anyone see anything like these thingy's? I see them on Brie, they fall off her and are on the floor, I try to cut through them.....I have no clue why she has them.

Ater the birth of my pups, I had someone helping me out and I am wondering if she didn't cut some of the matts out and left the cut hair on Brie and then gave her a bath with loose hair on her body. They maybe it dried and made knot like stuff...

Other thing, maybe hormones or side effect from vaccination given 2nd wk post partum....just wish I could figure it out.

Oh, these are not close to the skin...there is normal hair growing out then about half way up you have these knot type thingys.

Just looks like matts to me. I have been known to cut out a matt on Kodie instead of trying to get it out because he's such a pain in the butt with grooming and that's exactly what they look like!

I have those too from Rosie and Sammy. I think sometimes when we brush them some of the loose hairs don't come out and I find them later on the floor and that's just what they look loke. Rosie had a bunch of mats that I ran the scissors through and yesterday she had those little balls on her and they just pull off so they probably fall off too. Maybe comb her with a fine tooth comb and they will come out.

The things that I call matts are really big, these are small and I'm finding them all over the place.

They look like mats/tangles to me too. Mitzy's hair is really cottony and SUPER soft so her hair tangles easily and this is almost always the result of me combing them out :(

Kodie's hair is the same way! Ugghhh...that's why he will NEVER be in anything but a puppy cut!

I get those especially after the kids have been outside playing the in the wind or sometimes after sleeping all night. I use a big CC comb and work the hair from the root out to the tip and it gets any tangles out and I seem to have less. But don't worry, Cig, I think it is something that is normal.

Yup, I can spot a matt when I see one.
