Now that Mitzy's hair is getting some length to it again I'm remembering why I kept her in a puppy cut. Bath time isn't bad but drying her is a CHORE  So I am looking for a better hair dryer for her (and me :D)

I'd like one that is:

Fast
Heat and speed settings
Tourmaline
1750 watts or more

So what kind of hair dryer do you use?? What do you like/don't like about it?? Any recommendations on a good hair dryer??

Me too Jess! I would love a high velocity dryer for my 3. It would probably cut drying time in half!! I have been looking at them online but they are sooo pricey! :(

Well with almost five in long coats it was essential for me to get a high velocity blower but I have to admit it is a bit too strong but does cut the drying time in half. It was a bit pricey as well but a good investment if I was going to keep the kids in long coats.

It is the Metro Air Force Blaster (4 HP) and if I recall I paid about $175 for it. It nearly blows Buffy clean off the table. :lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2:

The downside it there is no air control nor is there any temperature adjustments. So I have to turn it on for about 10 minutes before I use it so the air is somewhat "warm."

Is Buffy your smallest, Carol?

I'd be in trouble then.....I might not be able to find mine once I turned that bad boy on! They might be blown right on down to Florida!

Buffy and Krissie are the same weight but Krissie is taller and boxie......Buffy is short to the ground and longer. I have such a bunch of misfits but I wuv them!!!!

And just what would be so bad about them being blown done to Florida??? They would love all the sunshine, home cooked food, liver treats and spoiling they would get. Why their crates would even have covers!!!!:blush::blush::blush:

And yes, I haven't forgotten, they are on my next "job to do " list!! :)

I have a "1875 Revlon Ionic Ceramic". 3 heat settings: hot, warm, cool and 2 air speeds: high, low. It also has a cold shot button so if the air starts to get too warm, you just hit the cold shot button. (good for people when you want to give that final cool air hit that is supposed to help hold styles in place). I really like that cold shot button for Tebow. I dry him on warm but if I feel like the temp is getting too high, I just hit the cold shot. It comes with a couple of attachments: a nozzle to concentrate air flow and a diffuser, which I have to have with my curly hair. I've had very good results with it for both me and Tebow. I got it a few months ago at Target and I think it was just under $30.

This is the one I use on the fluffs and honestly, I don't think there is much of a difference. I really wanted this one because it has a stand but unfortunately, it broke! :(
