I had thought of Carla (nickname Carley) but it doesn't FIT!!! I am driving myself nuts trying to think of a name.

Okay, you said you wanted some unique names, so I did a search online. I think she is just precious so I searched by the meaning precious. Here are a couple I came up with.

Nitika - hindu, angel of precious stones
Takara - japanese, treasure, precious object
Opal - english, precious jewel that was popular in the 19th century

I also did a search by the name meaning angel. Here is one.

Arella - hebrew, angel messenger

I really love all of those names I found, but I thought Opal would be especially cute for any maltese girl since opals are a whitish color and so are maltese...

I think if I ever have a baby girl puppy in the future, I might just name her Arella. I think it's adorable.
