Colored Maltese

For those who would like another color then white, maybe the Havanese would be for you. He too is from the Bichon family.
Colors : cream, white, blue, champagne, gold, sable, black and chocolate or any combination.
Height : 8-½" to 11-½"
Weight : 7 to 13 lbs

I love the Havanese...they look so much like the Maltese but alot stockier/sturdier.....I thought of getting one before Mia but I just fell in love with Maltese.:hearter: :hearter: :hearter: :hearter:

I never thought of the Havanese when I was looking for a sibling for Scrappy. Oh, well, maybe next time :D

My daughter when she was in France last year came back saying that there were all these white dogs everywhere that looked like a Maltese only bigger would that have been this breed perhaps?

I personally love the Havanese , but even prettier are the Lowchen . Lowchen are beautiful of face , I just hate the way they shave the rear end . For an adorable colored small breed , you can't go past the Shih Tzu . Sarah

hahaha I hear you ;) :D and I agree about the Lowchen that baboon butt look is such a turn off.:tired:

:( I can also see now why so many puppymillers will breed a Maltese and a Havanese they look so much alike and also when they are pups it's hard for the buyer to know.
