Hi from "Teddy" and Eileen. We wanted to say hello and intoduce ourselves. Teddy is a Yorkie/Maltese "Yorktese". He is the sweetest little guy. Teddy is almost a year old. I am looking foward to reading about everyone's Maltie sweethearts and all of the great advice offered here.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. Your baby is just adorable. I always wondered what a Yorkie/Malt would look like. I have also heard them called Morkie's. Does it depend on which breed was the sire and which the dame? Just wondering. Again, welcome!

Hello Pat and Sassy too! Thank you for the welcome. We are almost neighbor's. To answer your question: If the Dam is a Yorkie and Sire Maltese, then it is a "Yorktese".
If the Dam is a Maltese and Sire a Yorkie it is a "Morkie".
