Brand if dog food?

I am wondering what brand and kind of dog food you feed your Maltese. I right now feed Eva Nutro Natural Choice Small Bites for puppy’s. She loves her food but I just am wondering what everyone else feeds there puppy’s and adult Maltese.

I feed Nemo Natural Balance (Duck and potato) he is doing well on it. Before I had him on Wellness which is an excellent food also, but he pooped to much on it.Now that I have switched he is down to 2 poops a day..:p

I also use the Dick Van Patten's Duck and Potato for both of my kids and they love it........with a little cooked people food in in it!!!!:D

Natural Balance Duck and Potato for LB. I also put a little bit of wet food in it and some frozen green peas and carrots. They love it!

We homecook for our furbabies :) Before that though, we had our maltese on Merricks for a month or so. She did well on it :)

I just got back from a pet store that sells lots of top grade foods. Do you know how hard it is to find a food that doesn't have tomato or beet in it??? I could find NO puppy food whatsoever. I was totally bummed. I know most of them say "For all life stages", but I want PUPPY food for Myla, dog gone it! I ended up getting a small bag of Canidae for now and two HUGE bully sticks. Those must have been some bulls, let me tell you! :lol2: :lol2:

We also use NB Duck and Potato. Jack loves it with carrots, green beans, banana, apple sauce, pineapple (not all together at one time, but just to give him a taste of gourmet meals):D

Yes Eva and her older brother Calvin only eat Nutro dry food.

Calvin is a Yorkie and I have been considering changing his food to the Eukanuba Yorkie mix. There are just so many choices and want the best for the kids.

I feed mine Canidae and they all really love the food!! And I love it too, not because I eat it:p but because it is so good for them and is just a great dog food!!

Lol, on the bully sticks!! I have seen some that were about 5 feet long and the whole time I was thinking, that was one healthy bull!!:lol2:

:o :o I used to think wow bully sticks, Nemo had one once and after he stunk it was gross and then I found out it was the bulls birdie:confused: :confused:

my vet actually recommends royal canin :D
i have been home cooking for the little tarts, but we are running into trouble im running out of ideas of home cooked food!

In my opinion Royal Canin is a much better food. Nutro isnt bad but Nemo stained bad on it and he never stained before:( Once I took him off it the stains went away completely. Nutro has beet pulp and I sware that stuff stains, I know some don't agree but for me I feel it does..

I went to Natural Balance as it is an allergy forumula and contains great ingredients and is good for adults and puppies!!! I was giving the venison and brown rice with it but when it was pulled from the shelf, I stopped. But if they return the product, I will use it with the duck again! It too is an allergy formula and good for adults and puppies...........Kallie does not do well with lamb so I narrowed it down to these two as to what I wanted and have been using the duck/potatoe for over a year
