How many times

Im curious to how many times you all change your topknots.
im always adjusting it every day even twice a day with donbi and daerong.
Am I doing it wrong? is there a special method that it stays on nice and pretty.
everytime I see a picture of someone's furkid its so perfectly intact!

also how do you get your bows to sit there so perfectly

LOL... Cody's hair is silky so I have to twist it 3 times and the band still some how slips and goes all the way to the end of the hair. Mia has cottony hair I twist hers 2 times but I don't know what she does but she gets fuzz stuck in and around the band.:confused: :confused: :confused:

thats how donbi's hair is :lol2: always a fuzz stuck around the band i dont know how it gets there!

Jadey, It seems I'm changing it every minute. It's actually every 30 minutes or if it's askew which it often is. It feels like every minute though:D LB has cottony hair too!

Ohhh Laurie you sound as obsessive as I am....I dont take them off (top knots) I just pick at them...until the end of the day.....LOL

Maggie, I either not put her hair up or put it up, when I do put it up, I fiddle with it all the time! Well, she's always trying to remove it!LOL:sidesplit:

I change the bands daily or else mats set in and then it is a real mess to fix. Only takes a minute to change out the band and keep nice topknots.:D

I change my boys top knots once a day! I must say my mother makes fun of Blue because he and Cosmo play so rough that Cosmo's top knot is usually not as bad but Blue's would look soo terrible. She says Blue looked like he was drunk because of how his hair looked!! :lol2: :lol2:

Well, obviously Myla's hair is not long enough for top knot yet. On one of my Yorkies, we do it once a day. Not to look pretty, but cause it all falls down right over her eyes if we don't! I used the two band way now and it stays all day long. :D It may get a little skewed with Myla tugging at it though... :(

We change Emma's topknot once a day :) It usually stays in pretty nice unless her an Miko are playing really crazy! We wrap the band around about 3 times or 4 depending on the size of the band, and it pretty much stays in. I make sure to wrap it in exactly the same place each time I twist it, otherwise she gets those fuzzies too.

I'm abstaining from the poll also. Bogie hates anything in his hair, on his hair or his hair just being plain neat. The first thing he does after a bath and comb out is rub his head on the floor just make sure his hair is nice and messy. He does however love his clothes.
