Why do we have to log in each time we come to the forum ? Can we not stay logged in all the time ?

JanineI think when I log in it ask me beside where I log in at, to the right, if I want it to remember me. I just check it and it relogs me in every time. That is unless I delete my browsing history or defrag and disk scan. Other than that it always remembers me.

Yeap Becky is correct next time before you log in check remember me....if you delete your history, cookies or clear you stored passwords under internet tools you will have re-login to all your sites that you had stored login names & passwords.

That's what I do, put a check mark in the place "remember me" but still have to log in again each time I come to the forum. When I leave, I don't log out, so it should automatically keep me logged in. I have this problem only with MT.

Part of your problem here might be just how long are you away from the forum before you decide to come back on? I think if you're gone for over 15 minutes, it logs you out.

Once I am on the homepage after I log in, I put the page in my pc under "MY FAVORITES" and when I want to return to MT, I simply log on to the internet and go to "My Favorites" on my pc and click. It takes me right to the home page without having to log in every time or type maltesetalk in the address. Easy and simple.:D

I dont think it the 15 minutes your away, I think maybe cause your not here that much, Im here everyday and as long as I dont log out I am automatically signed back in. Maybe u should come more often:p

I have to re-login in everytime I use the Mozilla browser even though I click "remember me", when I use the Explorer browser, I don't have to login again unless I log myself out.

I have the same problem & it has not always been like that:confused: I have the remember me checked but it only remembers my username, it does not log me in automatically when i click MT on my favourites list:confused: It gets annoying at times too cause i'm here a few times a day!!!

As long as you don't delete the cookies you should be able to come back day after day after day without having to log in each time (unless you logged out). I can stay logged in for months on SM, AMR, and 2 other forums that are not about dogs. All the forums I go to are in my Favorites.

I stay logged in too as long as I click on remember me. I was going to ask if you have a spyware program running that may be deleting the cookies but then you wouldn't stay logged into other forums.

Well it's not working for me on this forum. I checked the cookies in the internet file, and there is no cookie pertaining to Maltese Talk. And that's probably why I have to log in each time I come to the forum. Why there is no cookie, I have no idea. The ones for the other forums are there.
