In the interest of fairness for all, and since we do not charge at all for advertising, please do not advertise the fact that you have Maltese for sale in another person's thread, unless that person is specifically asking for Maltese in your area (or nearby states) or specifically talking to you. We need to keep threads on topic. Spamming is not allowed, you may only post ONE Maltese For Sale thread per litter. Multiple for sale posts are considered spam and WILL BE DELETED.
Maltese may NOT BE LISTED until the actual Maltese for sale are 10 weeks or older. If they are not yet 10 weeks old, we will not allow them to be listed for sale here. There are no exceptions to this rule, so no threads accepting deposits for Maltese younger than 10 weeks are allowed.
You may only make up to five posts total per week in the Maltese For Sale forums, unless you are responding to your own For Sale thread. Replies to other Maltese For Sale threads may not include your contact information. You may privately message (PM) members to reply to Maltese Wanted threads.
Also, you may NOT post a For Sale thread if your puppies are not born yet.
We do not allow links to breeders websites unless you are a Donating Member who has donated $25 or more to MalteseTalk.
Several members have been complaining that there is too much advertising going on in non-For Sale sections by several members, and we have to stop the nonstop advertising in areas that are not related. So if it's on topic feel free to reply with the fact you have Maltese available. Advertising posts in threads that are not related WILL BE deleted, and a warning given. If it continues to happen, and you avoid our warnings, your account may be suspended or even banned. We hope that it does not get to that point.
Also, feel free to post one thread in the Maltese For Sale or Wanted when you have Maltese available for sale or adoption.
A member may post one Maltese For Sale threads per week. Donating Members can post up to two Maltese For Sale threads per week. You may bump up your thread only ONE TIME PER WEEK only. Any posts you make to your own thread that do not answer any questions will be considered a bump. You may only make up to five posts total per week in the Maltese For Sale forums, unless you are responding to your own For Sale thread. Replies to other Maltese For Sale threads may not include your contact information. You should privately message those members that are interested in your Maltese.
If you have any questions or concerns, please privately message us. Thank you.

We do NOT ALLOW any Maltese for sale if you personally aren't selling them yourself unless approved in advance by us. We have had too many issues and problems of members "selling for their friend, etc." If they want to post a Maltese for sale, let them create their OWN MalteseTalk account and post the details themselves. We will NOT ALLOW any brokers, puppy mills, agents, or anyone posting Maltese for sale if they are not in your possession. You MUST have the Maltese(s) in your possession if you want to post in here unless you have permission in advance.
Also, please put your location (city, state) in the thread.
We do not allow begging for free puppies or puppies at extreme reduced costs. Maltese are generally from $500 on up, with most being in the $1000 to $1500 range. Please do not post looking for Maltese below $500. If your budget for a Maltese does not allow for $500 or more, you may want to look into Maltese rescues or adoptions of older Maltese, as they may be better suited to your price range. Feel free to PM sellers with an offer, but the public forum is not a place to beg or whine for a Maltese.
We do not allow Maltese For Sale posts or solicitations from breeders outside of the United States and Canada. We do not allow stud/bitch service or looking for stud/bitch posts at MalteseTalk. Please privately PM breeders in which you may be interested in working with.
Since posting a listing for Maltese for sale is completely free, please consider a donation to MalteseTalk if you are able to find your Maltese(s) a home through MalteseTalk. Thank you.
Please let us know if you see any posts where these rules are broken. We will take care of it immediately. Your account may be suspended if you continuously break the rules or even banned.
