Sunday, June 24th is the start of ANIMAL RIGHTS AWARENESS WEEK.
Let's hope that all creatures, big and small, get the right to a loving home, food, shelter, comfort, sweet dreams, playing, sleeping, going on trips, good health care, walks, hugs and kisses, and never a hand raised to them to scare or hurt them.
Some people will say they are only an animal and they don't deserve it. Well, they were put on this earth to help us and comfort us, so we owe it to them to provide for their well being. If a person can't provide the basic needs that person in my opinion has no soul or conscience.
They say you can see a person for who they truly are by how they treat animals, and I do believe that. To all my MT family members, I salute you for being the loving, caring, crazy, laughing till you cry wonderful people I have the privilege of knowing and loving.
And I salute all the organizations world wide who fight for the rights of all creatures. Many of our members are involved in these worthy causes, many donate, many foster care, and many rescue a pet to become a loving member of their family.
Bless all who are involved.

What a sweet post..Thanks.
I am trying to post printouts in random places that I printed out off "prisonersofgreed". Very hard to look at.:(
While at Petsmart I was talking to the foster people and gave them a small petsmart giftcard and said I was sorry It couldn't be more but I try in a different way to help the animals. I showed them one of my printouts and they neverheard of that website. It took them a minute to grasp the concept showing cages and starving overbred dogs.
I am not trying to get any pats on the back, I just wanted to tell my story to say that is a good way to get the word out if you can't adopt or donate $.
Im haven't put many out so reading Sun. is animal appreac. day I will get back to my cause.

It doesn't matter if you can only pass out printouts or give a small donation. It is the time, commitment and dedication of just one person to help make a difference. It's a wonderful cause, and you do deserve a pat on the back.
