Hello all,
A while ago Wookie got a "SleepyPod" and at first I looked at it and thought, "Ok what will we do with this?"
I have found at least two really great uses for it.
One is in the car. If, for any reason, I don't wish to harness Wookie into his carseat, I use the SleepyPod and he is just as safe. You can buckle the Pod right in and zip it closed.
Also, if you are going to a resturant (dog friendly of course) you can sit the Pod in a chair and your furry companion can sit in the Pod in complete comfort.
www.meowme.com just in case you aren't sure what a SleepyPod is.
I really like our's now.

Alrighty then, that was not much fun. Wookie was so "standoffish" and didn't want his photo taken at all. However here is what I got, please forgive his "unkept" look but today is bath day and I just haven't gotten to it yet and I put his topknot in too fast to get all the tiny hairs. Sorry about that.
Wookie thought we were going out and now he's pissed off at me. Silly boy!
Ok about the SleepyPod, I have to tell you, it's VERY comfortable and well padded inside. The zip open top dome zips on and off the bottom easily and has velcro attaching handles. Wookie has plenty of room inside and usually he has a blanket and a few toys inside. OH it may seem "lame" that I still have the tag attached but I love the little lamb that is the company's logo. hehee silly me!

The pod reminds me of a egg hatching or something landing on the moon......but the little chickadee or that astronaut is sure gorgeous!!!!!
Is it hot or well ventilated? You said it straps right in (seatbelt)? Is it heavy?
Tell Mr. Wookie is very handsome and a great tv star.:hearter:

Thank you for your kind words about my lil "traveler". It's very well ventilated, keep in mind we live in South Florida and that is a must. Nope it's not heavy, I have a bad neck and back and don't carry heavy things. And yes you can put the shoulder part of the seatbelt under the strap and the lap part around the bottom front of the pod. It's a GREAT traveling Pod.

Heya Jane,
Chandra Try recomended this bag to me a while ago. Do they make only one style of bag? Do you have the bag or the backpack? Which size do you have? And is there really enough ventilation? I think I will put it on my birthday list. :lol2:

Lol Melanie, a lot of us bought the In.Dog.Neeto bag because of Chandra being so in love with it. It's so long ago I don't remember what sizes there are. If there were sizes, mine is probably a medium. There is ventilation on the sides and one on the front (8" x 6"). I think you can use it both ways, on shoulder and back pack (I must be missing some pieces for the back pack but the hooking up straps are definately there). It is really seldom that we take Alex with us, so I have used the thing maybe 2 or 3 times. But still he remembered. When I took it out yesterday, he wanted to get inside, he knew it was his.

Errrrr well.... One of Mr Wookie's jobs is to test products and write about them for a magazine called "BocaDog" and that product was sent to him for that purpose. He concluded his test and then I thought he liked it so much I would share it here as well. Yes, we feel it's worth the cost for sure. And IF we lived up north we would get the heating pad for it. That would make it nice and toasty cozy.
They are a newer product and not out and about much yet. However Meloney Lee one of the owners of the company REALLY, really cares about our pets and other animals and wants to do right for them. She is great! If you get in touch with them tell them that Mr Wookie sent you!

Mel, Mr Wookie doesn't need that pod, he will fit snug in the console of my hubby's truck, lol.
Honestly it looks so great and Mr Wookie looks so darn cute in it, but how much room do they have??, do they come in different sizes??, My Sammy Maree is a big girl at nearly 11 pounds and max is about 7-8 pounds.
Omega, Mr Wookie is devine, he is a star and so he should be, :luv: :luv: :luv:, I adore Mr Wookie.
Mel you need to post more pics of Mr Wookie on here ( under the pic section) for everyone to enjoy.

Dear Bek,
Back to the console, are we? Hmmm NO! :awink: hugs from me and licks from Mr Wookie.
I don't think the SleepyPod is available in different sizes, but it's rated for a pet up to 15 pounds, or 6.8 KG. The size of it is, Bed and Dome INSIDE 17 tall x 8 wide inches or 43 x 20 cm. As I am sure you can guess Wookie has maybe too much room but I put a blanket and a couple toys in it for him to take up room.
This is from their web site. I can hardly wait to see what they come up with or airline travel.
"On the Go →Because your pet will already be living in the Sleepypod, traveling will become much easier and less stressful for everyone. To safely transport your pet in the car, simply wrap the seat belt around the base of the Sleepypod and pull the shoulder belt through the top handle. →Watch Video The Sleepypod is designed for road trips; we are working on a suitable model for in-cabin commercial airline and public transportation travel."

Welllllll, it came and I like it - it's pretty cool, but I am going to return it. :( :( I don't think I will use it enough to make it worth the price I paid. Let's say it was an impulse buy... :o :o I don't know. Part of me wants to keep it, but I really shouldn't have spent so much right now when I have two dogs that are need to be spayed soon.
