I have only asked the h on one dog... :D He says no to pretty much everything... so I got tired of not having things I want. :mad:

The first dog I brought home without telling him, he was really p... off and told me to take it back. (this was at a petstore many years ago...) I took the dog back and when my h got home, he asked me where the dog was. :confused: :confused:

I told him I took it back and he told me to go and get him again! :crazy:

So, from then on, I just brought home what I wanted and he was ok with it. :lol2:

I feel bad for some women that I know cause they ask their h's and they always say no..... geez, doesn't the wife have anything to say about it??

My Dh was the same way. I already had 2 dogs, a cat, and a parrot. But, I really wanted him. Dh came around eventually. Once you have a malt in the house, it's hard not to love them.

But I believe that both of you have to want the dog, otherwise, it would not be fair to the puppy or to your relationship. My hubby and I make all major decisions together. Good luck!

My hubby NEVER wanted a dog let alone a Maltese ( tissue box he called them, you know those pretty covers you put on the boxes), When David started grade 1, I got hubby while he was in the shower ( he had know where to run, lol) and just said " I really want my Malt baby, I want my hairy daughter", He looked at me and said " Ok, but it isn't sleeping in our bed and I ain't doing anything for it. The moment he saw Sammy Maree he loved her, and her first night at our house, I had a bed on the floor for her all done up, and she cried, Hubby said " Oh bring her here" and he has never looked back.

I am very lucky, hubby pretty much lets me get and do what I like :D

Ok I'll tell every one :) you have to have the smlie and then you add it just like a picture3843 then when you have it uploaded you go back up and click on the paperclip and it will pop up then click the att and it will go into the sentance instead of on the bottom you can do it with a picture too3844 try it :) and you can click and save mine if you want they are animated.

Ok...here is what you have to do.....keep mentioning the new dog casually daily.....then once you found the one you want...show him the picture and say oh isn't he/she cute??? Make up a story if you have to like he/she was returned and they need a home or something heartbreaking......then mention again daily on how happy this puppy will make you....show him the picture again...and wish out loud that you could have him/her....then start working on......responsibility......that you would be soley responsible for his/her care....Make sure you do this non-chalantly...not like your setting him up.:D :D Men don't like to think you are manipulating them!:lol2: :lol2: Then in about 4-5 days just tell him when you will be picking him/her up.
