Bentley is getting neutered today.

I just dropped Bentley off at the vet and he will have his surgery this afternoon. He was so nervous and I hated leaving him there. I have never had a dog that was neutered before so anything I should watch for after surgery and recovery? He is also getting some baby teeth extracted.

When I was getting his things ready to go Hannah was watching me and when she seen me open the drawer that their harnesses are in she got so excited. When we walked out the door and she had to stay she was so upset. Now that I am home she just keeps gong from room to room looking for Bentley and whining and then she will just come back to me and bark and jump around and whine. She is so upset that her brother is gone....:(

Poor Bently, but he will be fine. They recover very quickly.

Awwww I love to hear how they miss each other.........codependency for happiness!

I am sure Bentley will be fine, but I've never had a boy dog until Toby and he was already neutered when we adopted him at six months.

Bentley's surgery went great and all his pre-surgery blood work was all ok too. I can pick him up in the morning. Hannah is still driving me crazy with this whining...I never knew she loved him so much-they sure don't act like it when they are together....:tounge: . It's going to be a long day and night.

Glad Bentley's surgery went great. Don't let Hannah bother him too much before his stitches are out. He is not supposed to run and jump around before he is healed.

My skin kids are like that--fight when they are together but when the sixteen year old goes some where the nine year old really misses her brother.

Chipper laid around for a few days after his surgery but my daughter's yorkie Marty was just fine, We had a hard time keeping him from jumping everywhere.
