Myla's hair

OK, I can't stand her hair any more! She's like a whirlwind that picks up everything in her path.. dirt, leaves, etc...

How should I cut (or get) her hair done? I don't want her to look dorky. :D

I really like Pixel's cut!! Mia is getting her hair cut on Thursday and I am going to go for Pixels cut on the face and a little longer on her length...

Well, from the pics of Kallie, you can tell I still like the long look of the face, ears and beard because.........I just couldn't cut one more piece. :( :( She looks a little out of proportion to me with it that long (Maggie suggested I cut it down a bit, but I ignored her) as she has a big head but I will cut it a little as the body grows out. Since I cut her, her hair is so much softer too so I think the long hair had too much damage left in it from the previous owner.

Are you going to groom her yourself or have her grooomed? Maybe they have a book at the petshop with various pics of maltese styles. Be sure to post Myla's first pics after you get her cut, Auntie Carol wants to see! Please!:hearter: :hearter:

Well, I would rather do it myself but I have never cut a Maltese before... I supposed you have to use a scissor instead of a clipper, right?

This was my first attempt to cut Kallie's hair and I used scissors on her but if I were you, I would take her to the groomer with a pic in hand and show them what you want and see if they will let you watch.........well worth it to do it yourself if she will let you.:D

Well, I will tell you this, it wasn't easy going from very very long to short. I would do it differently next time and do layers at the bottom and use that as a bases for the rest of the hair length. I got frustrated and made boo boo after boo boo and so she is shorter than I intended........oh well.

Well, Jolie has an appointment with the groomer on Thursday morning! :eek:
We are going short... I will be armed with a few pictures when I go there. I'm hoping I can do it myself after the first one. They won't let me stay and watch, though. :(
