Yes Elaine, he has been cut again and he looks dreadful, although he isn't bald like last time. Sadie bites at him constantly and even though Greg would sit down with him every night and try to use a dematting comb on him, we could not undo the damage she has done. In one day, she had matts on him that literally were golf ball size, Every night we would try and remove them and he hated it. The groomer said that as long as she does that, it would be impossible to keep him in a long coat. She said that all she could do was shave him and I certainly didn't want that, so I decided I could cut them out myself. I tried cutting his hair, with scissors to about an inch length but some spots are closer to the skin because the mats were that deep. Then hubby decided to use the electric clippers on his beard area and his legs. It looks like he was trimmed with a weed whacker. When he grows out some, we will take him to the gromers and have him cut into a short puppy cut and I will have to keep him that way until she is older and stops her nonsense. We have tried everything to get her to stop but she still does it, more so when we are in bed or not around.

Those girls do have a knack of putting matts in the hair:mad: Abbie is the same, little rascals that they are.

It will grow in as you know Cheryl & maybe Sadie will be out of her wild puppy ways:tongue6: well we hope so anyway:D
