I've been using the CC brush for over a week now and I really love it. It's the 27 mm gold series and a little too big for around the face of Toby, so I ordered another 20mm fusion series brush and a boar's hair brush. I hope the fusion is as nice as the gold series. Anyone use the fusion yet??? And what do you think of it????
I'll post my thoughts on it when I get it in a couple of days.:)

I never used the fusion brush Carol. I always use the #8 buttercomb on their faces, ears and tails. Let us know how you like it.

I love my 20mm fusion brush!! I've been using it for almost 3 weeks and the furbabies love it too. Before they would hate it when I tried to brush them with my petsmart brush. With CC's brush, they actually let me touch them without trying to run away.
Its light and easy hold for my hand.

I own 2 fusions, oblong and oval, both 27mm. The fusion handles are better, and it dun rust. My oblong was delivered to me almost the same time when they are launched. I still have them, besides the pin colour seems lighter, the rest is like new.:hearter:

Right here where I live, I have malteses imported from AU that are beagle sized with some over 13". Hence people with that kind of maltese would prefer the bigger oval type.
The oblong fusion can be a compromise between a full oval and a toy/pocket size, since its shape is already half of the oval standard and if your maltese is of smaller build, the surface area is just nice.
I very much appreciate the oblong 1 since the handle is standard and long enough for adult hands and I'm too lazy to use a comb to part the top. The 27mm pin is long enough to penetrate the coat while retaining the strength and softness during brushing. The 35mm gold can be a little too soft at times to straighten the coat. But of course using a comb is the best option but can pull out a little more coat at times when my eyes are stuck on TV.:p

Well, I ordered the oblong CC Fushion brush but ordered it in the 20mm.......I think it will suit my kids hair better and I already have a 27mm oval gold series and a 20mm toy fusion. I really like these brushes.

20mm is really useful for dematting. I choose the fusion to be a 27mm because being anti-static and I used 27mm most of the time, it make sense for me to get 1. I have both the oval and oblong fusion...but I use them on other dogs as well so its quite useful to own both.

if u live in a more humid environment, only the fusion stands the test of time...all my other versions rusted.

Maybe your right about this brush, it's just that all the brushes I have tried were really all the same, but CC does make a nice hair brush. I dont live in a constant hot place so I guess you would know better than me:D

I feel as long as it does'nt have the little balls on the tip it will work just as well.

but u are right also...if rust is not a problem, and use them with grooming sprays which is anti-static anyway, then u dun really need a fusion to justify the price difference. I wish I can keep them (non-fusion) for longer than a year, then I can just get the normal ones.

Well, I live in a very humid area and so I am really glad to be able to get the fusion series..........I am well pleased with the brushes and I do use a coat conditioner when I do a brush out which is every day. So I guess I will see how these brushes hold up...........I have three that get a daily brush out so these brushes are really going to get a work out!:D :D :D

I even use the 27mm for dematting and even though I dun use it daily, the pins are starting to shift apart after about a year of use. Some of the pins colours have faded but the pin strength still goes on strong.
