Hello I have a 6 mo old Morkie named Chino. I also belong to yorkietalk.com. I am curious to see if he has more maltese traits than I know of. :)

Cute Morkie. I just love my little girl Morkie. She acts more Yorkie than Maltese. Misha my maltese is pure princess, Piper is my little hellion.

:welcome: The gang here on MT is fabulous!! They can give alot of great advice and they make you laugh so much it hurts!!!!!
Some maltie traits are: sturdy,compact, gracefully muscular dog. Happy to recline on your lap, but is just as thrilled to romp and play. Very intelligent and devilish sense of humor. They announce invasion of its territory with spirited barking, but when introduced, this friendly, gentle dog can charm anyone. They can be fearless and trusting. Malties can handle obedience training, free-style dancing to music and hiking trails (short distances). They can also handle agility obstacles.
The Maltese possess traits that are found only in Maltese: fearless, happy, not yappy, and wants to please.
They are good watchdogs. They are alert, very loyal, and sensitive.
But, the greatest trait of all: They allow no boundary to contain them in their quest to constantly attend their human partner. They provide unconditional love, always and forever.
