Ok, I know some of us have been using this product but unfortunately I have been a real slacker about using it as per the directions. But I was wondering if anybody else who is trying the product has any feedback on it. I am trying to do better because when I first started using it, I did see some improvement. So, if any members have been using it regularly and it is working, please post a reveiw for the rest of us! THANKS

I use it on my dogs and their teeth look pretty good :) You have to make sure and actually use it correctly to see results.

So when is the last vet dental they had? AND with the use of the petzlife, do you think they will need a vet dental in the future?????

I don't know if I am right, but I would bring Nemo every 2 years. Like now I am going to make an appt for a cleaning (Nemo is 2) then when he is 4 6 8 and so on. I just don't see the need for more, especially if you use this product//

Miko had a dental for the first time at almost 3 yrs of age when he was under anesthesia for the removal of his urate bladder stones. We had just started using the product about a month before, but since he was already going to be under, I went ahead and let them do the teeth cleaning. The vet said it wouldn't take any extra time at all because they do it while he's falling asleep and while they're preparing for the other surgery.
Emma is one, and I don't foresee needing to do a dental on her anytime soon. Her teeth are very clean and she lets me brush them and do whatever to them...I could floss them...
As far as Miko is concerned, he takes lactulose several times a day, and it's a very sticky amber colored medicine, so his teeth get build-up quick. But this product has really helped him. I may need to find something else for him though because of his liver issues. This product contains alcohol, and that's not really optimal for a dog with liver issues. But for right now, I'm pleased with the product. I'm hoping that my dedication to their teeth keeps them from having to go under for dentals...

Thanks Marisol, I am going to try to put more effort into using the product so it is most effective as I really do not like puttng the kids through the dental every year. I just needed this extra bit of encouragement to get moving again.:D

Your welcome :) Anything that can keep them from having to go under anesthesia is better!!

I got the Petzlife gel for Naddie... and admit I didn't follow the recommended protocol in the beginning. ( when all else fails read the directions!!.. which I did but too quickly) I was doing the maintaining routine. Soo once I realized that I got on the ball and did correctly and it absolutely showed improvement!
Then when my sister got ill and I was taking care of her.. I neglected it altogether, but now I've started back on track. Naddie didn't like it at first but didn't give me a hard time. ( the little darlin lets me do anything!) Now though she is so used to it she does't react at all. I didn't get the spray because she hates anything! to do with a spray. I find the gel very easy to apply.

I bought both and they prefer the gel too. Don't like the spraying very much but thought I would give it a try. I'm going to finish the bottle of spray and then do the gel.
